The media could not be loaded.  This sunrise clock is great if you're the kind of person who needs an absolute entirely blacked-out room to be able to fall asleep, but which then means you have no way of getting natural sunlight to wake you gently in the morning; this sunrise lamp is therefore an excellent value-for-money option compared to the 'brand name' equivalents.Setup is relatively straight forward if you keep the instructions to hand and have some modicum of patience. Setting up the time, alarms, brightness levels, volume levels, etc simply requires pressing the specific buttons to cycle between options and can be changed pretty quickly if you suddenly cannot tolerate a certain jingle, but it isn't the most intuitive it could be.The design is quite striking and unique; the actual 'clockface' section is housed within the light, which is eye catching and means you can read the clockface extremely easily as it essentially has a large border around it. The entire unit is made of plastic, which means it is lightweight and easy to throw across the room when you're hungover and that darn alarm just won't stop pestering you..To power the sunrise clock, you use the included USB cable and power brick, or, provided your USB ports supply enough power (chances are that they do), you can simply plug the clock into any USB port, meaning less clutter and more plug sockets available for other gizmos and gadgets.

Initially I really liked waking up to the light slowly coming on, it really helped during the dark mornings. Although I couldn't figure out how to snooze the alarm but keep the light on and my partner became so confused with all the buttons it just aggravated him. After two months the light switch stopped working - changed battery but it didn't help. Devastated to say that I rendered another piece of plastic in the bin. If it still worked properly it is a good little wake up light if you take the time.

Bought as a present, the glow from red to yellow is rather fun. Recipient was very happy with it.

Really has made a difference to early winter get ups in the dark. The light comes on gradually and by the time the alarm goes off, you're already awake as subconsciously you notive the brighter surroundings. The only deduction I've given for the sound, I can't turn it down enough to enjoy listening to the radio at a low level as it's not a dial but a button that needs pressing.

I love everything about this product. It was straightforward to set up, the light options are great. I use the white noise to help me get off to sleep and then wake up to the sunlight. Its fabulous.
