The Original Secure Your Covers from Blowing Away - Large 38" (Car Covers, Light Truck Covers)

Just what I needed to tie down my car cover. The straps on the cover are just now sufficient to do the job. These clips and cords work perfectly and fit great.

Waited until a windy night before doing this review. I did not read any reviews before purchasing, and when I received the Gust Guards I thought the clips looked kinda cheap. A couple of nights ago though, howling winds were strong enough to shift the car cover slightly and the cover did not come off. I'm happy.

Been finding both my covers blown off more than once this year. This product is exacly what I needed to fix that issue. Works as expected and can't beat the price.

They work well in theory but even thought these are for a large car, they were a very tight fit on the cover of my 2007 Eclipse which is not that big of a car. A strong wind broke one of the clips that in fairness was straining to hold on with the bungee cord being stretched to the max. A little bigger and this would get 5 stars.

This product did not hold up against a regular thunderstorm. My cover getting blown off of the car. The clips are poorly made. Last night we had decent downpour. This morning when I went to check on my car, half of the cover was off the car, one of the clips became undone and blew away..... now I have to buy another..... I learned my lesson, buy it right or buy it twice

The cinching-style locking clips are so much easier to use than the type with a plastic screw to clamp the clip opening together. The hooks on the bungee straps need to be squeezed together with large pliers to prevent the clips from falling off the bungee hooks while maneuvering the clips into desired position. Save the cinching-style clips when needed and just replace the bungee cords when the cords become worn but you definitely want to keep the clips as they will last a very long time.
