Excellent swop to reduce plastic
We are trying to reduce our plastic use and this is a great swop to achieve this.It foams up nicely, smells great and cleans greasy pots and pans easily. I have even used it on small stains on my clothes to remove little splatter stains by spot cleaning. The only thing I will say it to get a proper soap holder that is sturdy and has grip so it is easy to foam up your sponge and that it doesn’t lay in water as it will get soggy.- Keep it nice and dry when not in use.

Dish soap bar
Takes a little while to get use to the differing texture and studs of a soap bar verses traditional washing up liquid.I kept my soap bar on a wooden eco soap rack and kept a dish sponge in a small ceramic pot next to it.We soon created a new habit to use it.Soaping up the dishes and rinsing them.We were pleased to know we were able to use these ocean friendly eco products and create zero plastic waste

Cleaning savvy for you & the environment!
The media could not be loaded. I have been using this Ocean Saver product for 8 months and I only have praise in its performance and multiple usages.I use this product not only for washing up, but also on my hob, laundry and carpet stains. It removed the marks every time with very little effort. It even removed fox odour from my dogs collar (just to state that I don't apply the soap bar directly to any of these surfaces!)Don't get me wrong, the transition into using this soap effectively is a re-education into how to wash up, but it's so worth it! I start with a half filled sink of clean water, apply the soap to my brush/cloth/sponge for each item you're cleaning - less IS more!Any bar of soap will potentially leave residue in your sink when emptied, it has always been thus... just rinse & wipe your sink afterwards & rejoice that your sink has been cleaned too!I used to think our travel coffee cups were stained as leading washing up liquids wouldn't budge the discoloration. This soap is the only thing that cleaned the cups back to new! (See photo for comparison). If you want to do your bit for the environment then I thoroughly recommend you use this product! 👍

Greasy film and slower, dirty dishes
Stick to liquid detergents, like Ecover. This OceanSaver dash-washing soap bar smells lovely but did not clean my dishes that were dinner-dirty. It's fine for glasses, cups, and plates my (clean) sandwiches were on. But give it anything greasy and saucy, and it struggles. It left a greasy film in the washing-up bowl, the sink, and the dishes themselves.True, you don't need a lot. I used the fine side of my box grater to work the fine powder into a soap liquid. But it's faffy. It took me so much longer because I had to rinse and check my dishes were actually clean. This was a poor buy and I regret my purchase. Liquid detergents come in many options, including ecological or scent-free formulas, or greener packaging. I will stick to those.
