Same pole as name brands. Bag is terrible/zipper broke day 14. Otherwise worth every penny.

Should have trusted reviews that I read. When reading reviews various people complained that the threads that connected the poles were no good. I went to unscrew the poles and they would not unscrew. Had to use channel locks to separate them and in doing so the screw broke off. Horribly machined threads. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. If you do you can say I told you so just like they are telling me after buying it.

After a few uses, the threads locked up and wouldn’t unscrew. After attempting to removed it the threads themselves broke off in to the receiving tube.

The idea is great, however the quality not so good. Either there were metal fragments inside the female end of the poles, or the quality of aluminum was so low that unscrewing the poles shaved metal fragments causing the threads to get stuck. I should have read previous posts describing the same issue before buying. I now have experienced the same thing. When the package arrived, I tried it out in the family room (clean area, not construction area) the same day it arrived. I took the parts from the carrying bag, they appeared clean. The parts all screwed together easily, I was surprised when all the measurement markings lined up between sections of the poles. It was screwed hand snug, but not tight. All went well until I tried to take it apart. The first turn went good, then the threads started to bind. About half way apart I couldn’t get it to budge. I was planning on trying some WD40 on that joint, so I moved to the next section taking more care. To my surprise that joint started to bind the same way. So I tried to gently finesse it apart by screwing and unscrewing back and forth. It only got worse. I thought I almost had it apart when the male end broke off. I then noticed that the previous joint also broke. If it takes that little effort to break the joints, the metal quality is poor. I won’t buy this one again, or the other ones that look the same. They are probably made by the same manufacturer with different color paint.Fast delivery, easy return policy. Manufacturing problem, not Amazon problem.

The pole would not unscrew after being put together, then the end pieces snap off when you have to apply any force to get them apart.
