I use these 3 way fittings to make stands for lighter R/C vehicles (1/10 and 1/8 scale). The big box store version has worked very well for me but over the past couple of years started to become quite expensive (~2.35/each the last time I bought them). That makes a once very economical option for a stand pretty pricey. I found these trying to see what discount I could get with a bulk buy.They are lighter in gauge than the retail ones (about 2/3 the wall thickness). For my application it is fine but it may not work as well for applications requiring higher strength. Price was excellent and pipe fit as it should. They also came in a resealable bag.

Fits perfect. Sturdy and well made.

I cut the PVC with a small cross cut saw to give me 90° ends. I drill an extra hole in the end of the corners so I can thread rebar through them. (One of the picture shows a hole with a stick in it just to show the hole. And then staked them to the ground with 5 feet of rebar in each pipe. Wrapping them with chicken wire at whatever level as needed. In the winter I will cover the frames with thick opaque/clear Plastic hopefully to keep the north wind out.

Exactly what I needed. The edges are beveled for comfortable use.
