this is a frustrating toy
I've had one of these since 2020, and it's a frustrating toy. I have one of the models that was made in 2019, and it seems that my old firmware isn't even listed, so there's no upgrade path. jyetech has not been helpful via support. The only reason to buy this is if you need an extra device which can run off of a battery, but even then - I'd buy a larger $200 scope with a 7" screen and put it on a battery due to how slow and flaky this thing is. It was maybe a sane option at $99 when I bought it 3 years ago, but there are better ways to spend your money in 2024.

Died during the first use
This DSO died on me the first time I used it measuring a 5V DC power supply. Super lame junk. :-/ You can't buy replacement parts to repair it either, which is also super lame. Thank goodness Amazon Prime gave me a refund.
