adhesive works, but screw holes are available
Very easy to use. I installed them using only the adhesive because I think that will be adequate since the rod is only holding up a smaller medium weight window curtain. But the holders do have holes for screws, so I will screw the holders in (they are mounted on wood) if the holders slip. The adhesive is quite sticky, so be sure to get the location and orientation right before you press into place. I wasn't careful enough with one of the holders, so the shelf edge was a bit rotated from being exactly on the bottom, but it still works fine and the holders don't show for my application anyway. Having the top edge open so that the rod can slide in from the top makes these a lot easier to use compared to when I just used plastic table leg coasters and strong double stick tape for a different shower curtain rod and it was hard to place the rod because the cup had an edge all the way around.

Pole kept falling off, second pole I had bought. I was concern this would come down as well but nope bought a few weeks ago and it is still holding strong. Very happy with purchase. Was easy to put up.

Nice quality, very strong adhesive
Strong adhesive, make sure you prepare yourself to lay this down exactly where you are aiming because it will not budget once it touches the wall. These are bigger than I expected but I imagine I didn't read the measurements. Nice quality. Would recommend

Adhered as advertised.
Even adhered to a rough uneven surface. Used for extra support for adjustable shower curtain rods that kept falling down.

May have to use rod holder for heavy curtains.
Nice, strong, sturdy rod. Not so adhesive, I had to purchase rod holder.

Holds up our shower curtain
They hold up our shower curtain which is all I wanted so I’m v happy. I got the circular mounts and fits the circular rod perfectly, can’t tell they are even separate items.
