AWM500D-1A

This is my fourth G-Shock. The last one, which I retired for this one, I wore for 12 years. I expect the same life span out of this one.The good:G-Shock's are durable and tough.Watch has a clean interface devoid of distracting indicators or dials; it is simple and somewhat refined. It's a very nice-looking piece, in my opinion.Being solar-powered and atomically set makes this watch maintenance-free.It has all the digital functions one would expect (month +day + date, alarms, world + local time, stopwatch, timer).The bad:The hour hand can be a little difficult to see, when eclipsed by the minute hand; takes a little getting used to.The buttons are a little more recessed than I'd care for, making them a bit more difficult to use than my previous G-Shock's.It's a little pricey at $500... but I believe you get what you pay for, generally.Summary:Great looking, functional & durable watch. I would buy it again.
