Perfectly fit.
It is a highly adjustable device to any viewing angle. It's the only one I could find that has a c-clamp for 3-4 inches thick. I had already used a different MagConnect mount at the office. All you would need is a MagConnect case which are sold separately. This particular c-clamp can be attached up to 3-4 inches thick area. I am using this to attach to my treadmill and connect to the iPad case to view videos (YouTube or Netflix) during my workout.

Great idea, but too weak to hold equipment.
I give this mount a lower rating, because it is a little wobbly when mounted to hold an iPad horizontally. The 12" ipad is just too much for this mount to handle as the weight gets stretched over a longer distance. The mount is mostly made of metal, but the handles for tightening are made of plastic so therefore prone to breakage over time. The most major flaw of the design is that the mounts tightening handle is too short to allow it to be tightened in any orientation, so this limits the capability of having your device mounted any way you want. The overall construction of the mount is metal, but the tubes should be made of heavier metal to hold the iPad. Price yet again is my issue with this mount. Should be far cheaper!

Great Clamp, Use It Everywhere
I have this arm/clamp and a smaller one, as well as magconnect cases for my iPad and Surface Pro. I even got one of those stick on magconnect pucks to put on the iPod Touch that I use as a remote control for a sound recorder. This is the heavy-duty version of the arm. You really have to ratchet down the base to get a heavier unit like the Surface held properly. It's kind of hard to do because it's so close to the plate of the clamp. I don't know how I'd do it better, but it's an annoyance. Otherwise, as long as you observe the laws of gravity (the weight can help tighten instead of loosening the assembly,) you'll be fine!
