Love this stuff, does it have a slightly unpleasant scent? Yes you bet, Its the licorice specifically that I can smell, BUT this is a high active retinol serum, its a base layer and it gets deep in the skin, the smell goes away almost immediately. Ive been using it for just over a month and ive already seen drastic positive results in fine lines, pore size and dark spots. I combine this with the Regena-C Moisturizer (M4) also from Facetheory and I think the combo is just excellent. Very moisturizing without being greasy. I can't use prescription tretinoin more then once a week due to extreme sensitivity but this combo together seems to be working very well since I added the serum and moisturizer to my routine I no longer get peeling or dryness from the tretinoin. Would highly recommend, the price seems a bit high, but a bottle will last a full two months if used correctly.

I have rosacea and within a couple of days, the redness was reduced and my skin has a glow that it hasn't had in years. I've been using it for just over a week every night. I have noticed a few new breakouts, but not unexpected with a new retinol regime. I apply to my face (not eye area), wait about 20 minutes then put my normal moisturizer on.

I'm a little disappointed, I didn't realize that they made these in such a tiny bottle...

A derm told me about this line and I am absolutely floored with almost everything I have tried. Very impressive results with minimal side effects = perfect skincare :)

I enjoyed using this serum I applied it for a little under a month as part of a night routine and it worked well I have somewhat sensitive skin and I had no reaction from this serum. The bottle it comes in is a push cap rather than a dropper like most serums which is more convenient in my opinion than a dropper but also will last less. Regardless of that I still haven't made much of a dent in the bottle and I estimate that with daily use it will last a few months maybe three perhaps more since you don't use a lot of product. the serum itself absorbs fast and leaves a bit of stickiness after applying but that disappears in less than a minute it also has a slight smell that I couldn't really place it's not bad but I did find it didn't mix well with other scented products I had and had to stick to a non scented moisturizer after using this to keep the scents from becoming distracting. Overall it's a good serum it has a lot of good ingredients that my skin could benefit from and I was always left with a hydrated smooth skin so I'd recommend it I also tried a facewash from this brand and found it worked well the bottle was huge for the price so if you're looking for a skin routine from one brand maybe look at their other products they have a bunch of serums and cleansers that are actually competitively priced and good quality.

I also use a moisturizing serum and sun block during the day. It makes a difference.

I am a big believer in retinol as my fountain of youth. This serum is easy to apply, is not oily and absorbs well. It does not irritate my skin and I only need a few drops so the bottle will last a long time. I only use retinol at night because it can cause sun sensitivity. I have combination skin and am aging so I thought I would give this a try. I have used this brands N10 serum for over a year and really like it but I thought I may need some wrinkle protection. Using this in combination with their cacay oil has been great very glowy even looking skin. I don't really have wrinkles yet except for some minor frown lines these seems plumper and less visible. The bottle is glas with a pump I think the pump dispenses too much a half pump is sufficient to me. It smells earthy but disipates. It is a moisturizing serum and I haven['t had any irritation like I hear can occur with retinol. I recommend and will purchase again. Facetheory is a brand out of the UK who is ingredient concious, budget friendly for the actives you get, eco-friendly.

Early days so far but it seems to be gentle and I’m having no reaction so far. Maybe in a month I might have a better idea of the effects on the wrinkles!

J'ai une peau mixte à grasse et sensible et ce sérum fait des merveilles.En plus de faire disparaître mes boutons et mes cicatrices d'acné sans effet asséchant ou d'effet de picotement. Par contre il faut impérativement apporter de l'hydratation après l'application du sérum (ici j'utilise la crème cica plus de chez Jonzac) et un écran solaire car le produit est photosensible. Très peu de produits suffit, une pompe est largement suffisante pour le visage et le coup.Texture très agréable pénètre rapidement et le flacon pompe est pratique de plus il n'y a aucune odeur désagréable cela reste très neutre.J'en applicaque 2 fois par semaine voir 3 s'y besoin.J'achète plus sur le site de la marque mais sur Amazon car pas de frais de douane !!!Update le flacon ma tenu jusqu'à début janvier c'est à dire 7 mois environ

This product combined with their cleanser and moisturiser has turn my skin from being angry and itchy due to suddenly developed acne to being calm and with just slight pink marks. I’d tried all sorts before finding these. The condition of my skin has greatly improved and I’ve noticed an obvious reduction in my fine lines. My skin is softer, younger looking, someone said I looked radiant (!). The only change I’ve had is in using the Facetheory products. I’ve been using them for 8 weeks and I’m not moving away from them.

Using for a few weeks, haven't noticed any visible results but I will keep using for the time being.

Utilisé en combinaison avec la crème du même nom. Je ne l’utilise qu’un soir sur 3, et l’effet est top. Pores resserrés et ridules diminuées. Trop costaud je pense pour une utilisation quotidienne, mais pour une peau réactive qui n’a le droit au retinol que 2-3 fois par semaine, c’est parfait.
