100 grams chandelle feather boas are fuller and fluffier than 65 grams boas. We specifically ordered them from our manufacturer to meet your special needs. They are perfect for dance performances, special events, weddings, Mardi Gras celebrations, photographer props, masquerade parties, bachelorette parties, etc. We also have 180 grams, 80 grams, 65 grams, and 45 grams chandelle feather boas available, you can go to our store to check them out. Quantity discounts offered by our store Cynthia's Merchant for bulk order. How do I clean and take care of the feather boas? After you receive the boas, please pull them out of the PVC bag(s), preferably outdoors, in order to get rid of debris formed during processing and shipping. The boas should be hung for 48 to 72 hours before use. The longer you hang them up, the better they will look. Feather boas are also washable. Clean the boas by hand washing in warm water and soap. Rinse off the soap with cold water. Then, wipe off the boas with a towel or paper towels. After removing most of the excess water, use a blow dryer to finish drying the boas and maintain their fluffiness. All of our feather products have been professionally cleaned, steamed, and sanitized. If the strings on the ends of the boa are too long, you may retie the string tightly as close as possible to the feathers and cut the rest off. The boa will not fall apart if you do this.

Great product. I doubled this to get more volume
Great product. I doubled this to get more volume, which was massive. The construction makes it easy to chain multiples together. If you are reading about feathers falling off, know that's part of prepping your product. You're going to shake the daylights out of it. Feathers will fly. A lot of feathers, and as that happens the boa gets bigger and bigger. The more you shake, the fluffier it gets. Eventually feathers stop flying, and you have a gorgeous lofty feather boa. (And a mess to clean up). So do it once, and don't be afraid of feathers flying.

Nice and fluffy!
I ordered six of these feather boas (3 brown & 3 yellow) for Halloween costumes. They were perfect for what I needed. Nice and fluffy. They do shed a bit, but that is common and expected with feather boas.

75 vs 100g
It's nice, has stayed together well (note -I'm a professional performer so I use it a lot, also boas shed! That's the nature of them, but it didn't fall apart like some reviews said)-I ordered both the 100g (this one) and the 75g....the difference was so small I wouldn't recommend spending the money on the 100g over the 75g less expensive one

Shake it!
I am so glad I read another review suggesting to take this boa outside and shake the heck out of it. The amount of shedding was crazy, and I can't imagine using these without having shaken the daylights out of it first. Shaking it make the boa expand and rid itself of what would be a nightmare of continual mess about the house. I am using this as fireplace garland, and it looks great. The quality of the boa is decent, with no gaps or areas of poor quality feathers. The feathers are thick and consistent the entire length. Too bad the company doesn't rid the boa of the bulk of loose feathers before packaging.

Never get lost again!
This is a nice full long boa. I was concerned about the fullness when ordering but it didn’t let me down in that department. I will say, this thing sheds everywhere all the time. Basically once it’s out of the package it can’t stop won’t stop status. I wore this out on capital hill in Seattle and Seattle is now covered in a trail of feathery, bar hopping, bad diversion making fun. Friends just followed the trail of feathers to find me all night. Even after all of this sheading it still surprisingly looks great.

Pretty but smelly.
I was so stunned when I pulled this out of the box – for a cheap one, it was quite fluffy and the color depth was beautiful. (I am braiding with solid black to give a more natural, less dyed look).Yes, it shed. But this isn't my first rodeo – they all shed, open them outside.Only complaint is that it gives off a strong odor that is something like dead rat and dog poop and you can smell it from a few feet away. Luckily, I'm far enough away from people on stage they won't be able to smell it but DAMN I hope that smell airs out. Sheesh.

Dirty, Scraggly
Dirty, Scraggly, and Unfinished. This arrived covered in dark stains where a liquid had clearly been spilled all over it before packaging. It was shipped anyway, and arrived as a scraggly string of feathers. The few on there all started to shed immediately. There are about 6 inches of raw string on each end. I wasn’t expecting stellar quality, but this is just plain dirty and can’t even pass for a girls’ night out accessory (ordered for my friend’s birthday). Looks nothing like the photo (save for color), but unfortunately it isn’t worth the $10 to ship it back. Disappointing waste of money. Shop elsewhere.

Lots of loose feathers, but still nice for the price.
When I first had this boa it was shedding like crazy, all over my apartment. I took it outside and shook the everloving heck out of it until it stopped shedding. Quite a lot of feathers came out and it has a bit less volume now, it arrived very thick and nice and now it's looking a little thin for my preference. I wish they had attached the feathers better or done it even thicker so after it's shook out it still has lots of volume. It is however very soft and the feathers seem to be of nice quality. It is made of shorter, finer, fuzzy feathers at the core and then longer feathers that reach outward past them. Keep in mind feathers can get mites even though they're not attached to a bird, so freezing the boa for a day or two every once in a while might be a good idea. Also if the feathers get scraggly or just not as nice looking you can steam the boa to refresh the feathers, you can do this either with a handheld steamer or over the stove if you're careful.
