Being closed in helps a lot with the mess and smell of a litter box. I dont see a purpose for the steps. The door only opens from the inside. So if you have an older cat that cant climb in from the top I wouldnt recommend. The scoop is also a bit big when scooping litter the waste falls through it.

Easy to assemble but when trying to lock together, the plastic part you hook to the lock onto could be easily broken. Therefore, you have to do this with care. Otherwise, works fine.

Great product at good price. Standard litter boxes and most collapsible litter boxes do not work for my cat. The “pain in the butt” pees off the edge of standard boxes and some how knows where to pee to get into the cracks of most collapsible ones. The walls on this one work great to keep pee in the box. And the material is smoother for easy cleanup.

My kitten seems to really like the privacy of this one. It’s easy to clean with litter box cleaner from the pet store.

Very small for a large litter box. Use for a 5lb cat and it definitely seems small for her.

I gave this product a four star review because even though it is great in most aspects the actual box itsself is very small. I have a 10 montu old cat and he barely fit. I would suggest this product for a younger or very small cat or kitten.

Too small for my cat, but good quality otherwise.
