Timely Connection
These take a while to set up, because you have to connect each bulb separately. The changing color is are great, especially if you suffer from migraines and need dim lighting. I control from my phone or Alexa, and am loving g the end result.

Bright, easy to use, but….
Bright, easy to use, cheap but…. Not nearly as stable / reliable as the Phillips HUE system. Can deal with the quirks if you only have a few… but if entire home is going color LED, these would not hold up well…. WiFi and memory recall is weak compared to HUE products.

Subjective Impression
Subjective Impression .... That's why I waited to review these bulbs. I wanted to see how well they perform long term. The first thing I should mention, in fairness to the bulbs, is my internet/wifi is sketchy. I have a100 year old house, solid interior walls. That might affect what I'm going to say about the bulbs. I also have Charter service and they cut service weekly for "maintenance". That could also impact the bulbs. Finally, the Sengled app leaves much to be desired. The bulbs are great, easy install, good lighting and they easily interface with Alexa. As long as the connection is good, Alexa is a smoothe operator. Sometimes, most often, I use verbal Alexa commands. When I don't want to wake my dog up, I use the quick access Alexa light panel on my phone. (If I wake my dog he thinks I should give him treats, midnight snacks, and he has to go out to potty)The internet/wifi interruptions cause a bulb disconnect and I have to reset most of them. That takes more time than I want to give a bulb(s). Sometimes the bulbs completely back out and I have to delete them and re-install them, name them again and hope the connection holds. That takes waaay too much time for almost a dozen bulbs that I have connected. The app makes an easy install but the app management is messy. For instance, an installed bulb page doesn't give options that you may want, like a quick reconnect and if you create room groups, it's difficult to undo. Suggest making your groups via Alexa. Use the app to install, select the Alexa control and do everything else in the Alexa app.Supposedly the bulb should last 25,000 hours. In doing my math on my hall ceiling bulb based on typical usage, it should have lasted about 2 years. That bulb has been in service for 11 months and it's currently lighting at about 50% (for 2 weeks now). So maybe that 25,000 hours is 100% for awhile, 50% for awhile, and 25% for awhile, continuing to dim until it dies. I expect the 25k hours to be at 100% for at least 2 years based on the usage of the hall light. Problem is, by the time you know this, return options are expired and you don't know until it starts dimming down. I guess it would be the same with any brand. My hall light is used daily but for very short periods, like filling dog's water bowl or doing security checks at night, less than 10 minutes at a time. The den light, installed at the same time as the hall light, is used for longer times and is still performing at 100%. Apparently the longevity of the bulbs is subjective.Based on my experience, I like the bulbs as long as there are no wifi glitches. Regarding this brand or any other brand, how long they last at 100% is anyone's guess. I wanted to review this bulb because I think it's fair to share how it has performed overall. I can't say it's any better or worse than another brand.

Works perfect
They work great and set up easily - just have them close to an Alexa device.

After a while it worked
Try to connect to my wifi won't work saying my signal is week. So I had to by a wifi extender port and now we wait to see if it works. If not I'm returning them.UPDATE - after a while it finally worked.

Bad! Took an IT guy, me, 30 min to set up!
The most difficult smart device I've ever connected to my network ever. First I had to download their app to add the device before I could add it to Alexa, and it's not an easy process. During the process, you have to register and create a password. For a light bulb. Then, they are supposedly going to send you a confirmation email. Never received it, waited the required 2 minutes for them to resend it, never received it again. Yes I checked my spam email. Then, I had to send them an email instead with a set message that included a code. Finally my account was created. Then you have to have the device be found. Well all this time it's been plugged in so it's now out of setup mode. The enter setup mode you have to cycle it on and off five times quickly. I've got it plugged into the wall, it was really no way to do this quickly except to unscrew and screw in the bulb five times fast. Then I have to connect to my home network. I guess I typed it wrong but didn't get that error code, it just kept searching the first time, but after screwing around for 5 minutes, I started everything all over again, and this time apparently I typed my home network password correctly. But I had to put it back into setup mode again because it's too much time had elapsed. Again with the screwing on screwing. Finally, it was connected, I renamed it, added it to Alexa. I'm for sure deleting thier app, who knows, why I needed to add a third party app to add it to alexa.I purchased another smart bulb, which did other things this one doesn't do, like change colors and warmth levels, and it was plug and play. This one, was a total nightmare.

Good, but a little cheap
The media could not be loaded. I've been using these for 9 months now and I like the LED lights but they're not the BEST.Here's some pros and cons:Pros- They're pretty inexpensive- The Sengled app is pretty nice and let's you connect with Google Home, SmartThings, Alexa, etc.- The app shows you energy usage and has lots of neat features like "sunrise" and "sunset" modes where the lights gradually increase or decrease brightnessCons- Some connectivity issues. I have 6 of these bulbs and one of them randomly turns off sometimes. I've tried reconnecting it a few times but it still does it.- The colors are GOOD but not super dark. The last con is my main issue with the lights. I can get over the occasional connectivity issue or having to reconnect them once a year, but the colors themselves aren't that great.I have more expensive LED bulbs and the dark blues and dark purples are 1,000 times better on them. If you set these lights to dark purple it's still very bright and more of a lavender color rather than true indigo. If you check out my video you'll notice how the red light is considerably darker than the blue light at 100% brightness. Dark reds should be really dark, but so should dark blues. I'm not exactly sure what makes an LED better at darker colors than others, but this one didn't do it.

Excellent brightness and easy to set up
I tried the earlier version of these which are 60w and have transitioned smoothly to the dual band functionality of my wifi. Iove how they are regular shape bulbs and synced up right away to wifi and to google home. Also as easy to remove, reset or make any changes. Auto upgraded the firmware as soon as installed, nothing bad to say about them!

They work great!
The media could not be loaded. These builds work great for me. I have 10 coloured, and 1 plain white Sengled smart bulbs in my house. I’m not sure what these other people are complaining about, They don’t buzz, they don’t turn on randomly on their own and they don’t lose connection.Maybe Alexa is your problem, because they work consistently with Google.I recommend them because they simply work when I need them to.

Bright, reliable connection
Bright and stays connected far better than other brands I've tried. Use in landscape lights around a pool, still work when temps dip way below zero I always worry about one bulb dying and not being able to replace it because brand is gone/out of business, but this brand is also available a big box chain stores, so seems it will be around for a while and is replacable.
