Carefree 82108802 Black 6' x 10' Sunblocker

While we were camping the last time we noticed another RV'er with a Sunblocker shade and asked about it, they told us it helps keep some of the afternoon sun off the RV ( if you are parked that way ) and your outside area cooler plus in makes your area more private, we really like ours. if I'm just stopping for the night I don't attach mine to the canopy but if I staying a few nights its going up. I don't roll mine up in the canopy as I have read some do, to me the farther out the canopy is the easier it could catch some air at 70mph and jerk off the side of the RV, I would really not enjoy that, it only takes a couple minutes to install the sunblocker after you do it the first time, hope everyone enjoys RVing as much as we do.

We live in our 5th wheel full time and travel the country so we really needed the extra shade to make it more enjoyable to sit outside and to keep it cooler inside.It installed very easily in a matter of minutes. Just extend your awning, unfold the shade, slip the end into the extra slot on your awning roller and pull it through. It includes 3 plastic stakes and line to tie it down. The plastic stakes are adequate for us because we have good tie downs on our awning.This works great and I would recommend it to anyone that uses their rv in hot suuny climates.

We purchased this from Amazon and as always, it was delivered on time and with no problems.The 6' X 17' Carefree Sunblocker was exactly what we were hoping it was. It comes in it's own reusable bag that has everything you need to install it. Camping in South Florida is great but can be quite hot at times. We would sometimes have to go inside the RV to escape the heat when we would have much rather been outside enjoying our surroundings. The Sunblocker creates a nice little atmosphere under your awning and gives you a little more privacy but yet you don't feel closed in because you can still see through it and the breeze comes through nicely. It has made all the difference in our camping experiences. If you don't have one you need to get one. I almost feel like I should get another one for a back up so that we would never have to be without it. But it's made so well, very strong, so I doubt that we will be needing to replace it anytime soon.

This sun screen is a must for camping! It is great for getting out of the summer heat. The screen is made of mesh material, so it gets air flow but keeps the deck nice and cool. You can also see through it when you are on the deck, but it is darker looking in so it gives you a little privacy. It was easy to install right in the awning track. Italics me with a nice storage bag and tie downs if you need them. This is a great investment and I would reccomend it, if you're an avid camper!

It was too long for my so-called awning that is referred to as a 10' awning. The awning itself isn't quite 10' and this additional panel was longer than 10'. Had to return it... not worth spending so much money on something that doesn't fit right. I bought a set of hooks for "RV lights" that fit in the groove on my awning and bought a $3 6' x 8' tarp which works much better than this... oh, and some tent stakes and some rope that I already had.

Helps keep things cool when the sun is low in the sky, but hard to put in the awning slot by one person. Have at least another person to help you insert it. Plus is can not remain in the slot when you roll up your awning. Your awning will not completely roll up, making it possible to come out while driving down the road. This hasn't happened to me, but afraid it might, so I take it out when on the road.

Does exactly what it says it does. We bought this to use on our fifth wheel at our mountain property. Our door and awning face due east, so in the mornings, during the very important coffee consumption time, we couldn't even sit outside as the sun was so bright and hot. This solved the problem 100% ! It is well made and slides right into the channel on the awning. Easy to put up and to remove. Takes like 8 seconds..lol. However, it also will roll up WITH your awning! BONUS!! We are stationary with our RV now, but I don't see any reason that you could not travel with it rolled into the awning. You won't be disappointed with this purchase.

Not as red and the picture, more brown/burgundy which I prefer. Added grommets instead of trying to slide it through the Carefree channel. Easy to put up and down now.

Because of the very hot summer we are having we were looking for something to help keep our trailer cooler. We purchased this screening and it is amazingly light weight but heavy enough to do the job.The zipper is so easy to put on and the part that folds up with the awning folds up without any problem at all. I am 75 years old and put it on myself and zip it on & off myself. At first I didn't really think it waskeeping out a lot of sunlight but when we unzipped it to roll up the awning I was so surprised to see thedifference. It was definitely keeping out a lot of the sun light. It is also a good privacy screen as well.Well worth the money!!! Very impressed with this product.

This blind was a great buy! The price was good; looked at similar items in RV stores and they started at $200. Delivery was actually earlier than expected so had it for the weekend and installed it right away. Very easy to install (takes seconds), no clips to install, just slides right in. We got this one that wasn’t as long as our awning so we could slide it as the sun moved so we could decide what part of our deck had shade as needed. Works great to provide shade and some privacy so we can enjoy our days at the lake longer. We found the height is perfect. Doesn’t drag on the ground but can be staked if necessary. We leave it hanging loose so we can still enjoy the air movement if a breeze comes up! Highly recommend

We love our new sunblocker. High quality material. Easy to intall (just slide on the track and attach the bottom to the ground (in our case it is to our deck as we are seasonal). If not windy and only for a day you could just let it hang and it would still give you good results in blocking some sun. It works as promised. It does block some of the view but it is to be expected if you need to block some of he sun. We took it narrower than our awning and it is excellent as we do not need to block off the whole area.

Randomly ordered this product from Amazon, we were looking to extend the time we can sit on our deck at camp. We get full sun starting at 1:00 pm the awning can do only so much. It took a bit of time for the item to arrive. It is easy to install in the awning track. We were very pleased at how much cooler the deck was and also the trailer having the hot rays of the sun blocked. Would highly recommend this product. Comes in a carry case folds easy and installs easy. Therefore I gave it 5 stars.

Very good quality and easy to install. Once installed it is very noticeable that the heat from the sun is being blocked. It also provides a subtle sense of privacy. Well worth the money.
