Simple Houseware 3-Tier Stackable and Sliding Desktop Document Letter Tray Organizer, Black

I like it because it has three shelves and they pull out like mini drawers. Looks good on top of my desk along with the other black accents. Easy to put together. Pretty sturdy.

The trays and frame are good and solid, and comes with rubber feet you can attach to protect the surface on which you place it. The trays can be pulled all the way out of the frame, but you need to pull them out about 90% before they risk falling out, and it’s unlikely you’ll ever need to pull them out more than 50% to reach everything you need. The tray’s design would work in an executive office, a home office, and anywhere in between. The tray was easy to assemble – it took perhaps 3 minutes. Also, the trays nest within one another, so it’s very easy to take apart for storage. My living room doubles as my home office, and I use one tray to hold my various remotes, one tray for my 10" netbook (the tray appears large enough to hold a 13" laptop), and the final tray for several 8.5" x 11" notepads.

I bought this for the office I work in which is a 24/7 crisis center with 11 employees in one room. I love that it holds papers in a vertical position as opposed to horizontally when laying down (I hope that makes sense!) It takes up much less space on an already limited-for-space shelf. This has been extremely helpful in staying organized without compromising on space. It was very easy to assemble. I didn’t really need the directions. It’s very sturdy too. Arrived fast with prime shipping. I’m very happy with the purchase!

This set was easy to assemble, attractive looking, and easy to use. The only drawback is that the bar on top gets in the way of putting things in the top basket if I'm not careful.

I purchased 2 of these because I wasn't sure if I wanted side by side or tall. They stack just fine and the trays slide out easily. Maybe a little too easily. This is not a heavy duty unit but certainly strong enough to handle a 2" stack of paper in each tray, even when the units are stacked. To get the stack to tip forward by sliding a tray out you would need to put more paper on the tray than you can physically fit between the trays and pull the tray 95% of the way out. If you tip the frame forward the trays will slide. Assembly is easy. Six screws and 3 tubes hold the 2 sides together. You will need a #2 philips or a medium straight screwdriver or a dime. The 4 rubber feet pop on in a few seconds. The only complaint I have is the unit has a bit of a twist and does not sit flat on a surface. Grabbing the 2 side and twisting a little the other way fixed that. I think that cost me 5 seconds. All in all I would not hesitate to purchase again. My wife purchased some plastic units similar to these and is now looking to tossing them in the recycle bin and getting some of these.

Arrived with all the parts (and extras) and no damage or cracks. Easy to assemble with just a phillips head screw driver although I had my husband do the final tightning. Looks attractive and good quality. Didn't balance correctly when first assembled but moved into place once I put magazines and pads in the drawers. I really wanted a Safco Products 3255BL Onyx Mesh Desktop Organizer with 6 Vertical/ 2 Horizontal Sections, Black but refused to pay $32 for it. Turns out, this 3 tier organizer was all I needed, cost less than half as much, and took up less space.

I'd been working without document trays because I did not know of any so good as these! They are easy to put together, stand sturdy and well-balanced, and stack to boot! I used Post-It Note Tape and a very bold marker to label each tray. I cut the post-it tape in half vertically so it would adhere firmly to the front of each tray. I have had paper of all sorts around me for many years and these trays have provided immediate help! Paper sitting without being placed in the right place is paper doomed to be lost. These trays have a wide-open area to slip the paper into. One of the professional organizers said recently, "If it isn't easy to do, you won't do it." That is so true. It if it too difficult to file the paper and requires too many steps, it will sit out and become a growing problem. These trays not only are wide open, but each tray will slide forward easily and smoothly, independently of the others. I feel I have Total Control of my paper now. I have bought three sets so I have all the necessary categories covered, and will not hesitate to get more as needed, they are that helpful! I have used them both stacked (3 sets) and also ndependent of one another (3 trays per set separated on the desk) and both ways work well. For space-saving, I am using the 3 sets stacked together. I wish I'd known of these years ago!!

It took 2 people to assemble because of all the screws & balancing required! But if you have a helper, it’s very sturdy. Also has 3 tiers instead of the usual two, so it holds lots of papers. The design looks great on a desk.

It arrived when expected. It was very easy to assemble and looks good on my desk. My papers are organized well now.
