I’m not one for reviews but I’m so shocked that this thing worked! I’ve got a Range Rover and it doesn’t get driven much - every winter, if it doesn’t get driven for a few days the battery dies which is super annoying. I left my car for 4 days last week and the bloomin thing died so we decided to buy a battery charger instead of hassling my local garage to jump start me. We toyed with buying a much more expensive one but in the end thought we’d try the dirt cheap one just to see and bloody hell it worked! My husband attached the wires and signalled when it was ready, I pushed the button and it instantly started! For anyone worrying about the size of your engine, it had no problems with my 2.5 litre engine. It started instantly. Literally the best £40 we’ve spent on Amazon! Hubby says instructions are basic but easy to understand. GREAT BUY!!

Avoid this jump starter unless you wanna charge your mobile phone. I have a 1 Litre Focus and bought this because my battery was flat. It failed to start the engine and after 3 attempts then was dead and needed to be recharged. So I recharged it it and tried again. Once again it failed to start the engine, so I tried a few more times. After about 3 attempts once again this jump start was dead. Absolutely useless as a jump starter but charged my mobile phone which is about all it is good for. As the saying goes...buy cheap and buy twice. Completely useless for starting your car.

We bought this for my corsa as every morning the battery would drain. I couldnt get to the garage due to it being over weekend/bank holiday time so ordered this.It came quick with prime delivery which was fantastic. Very easy to use, simple instruction. Worked a treat first time. Make sure to keep it charged, it does say it lasts 3 start ups so once youve used it twice.. plug it in to charge just incase.I used it 4 days in a row, each time the device started my 1L Vauxhal Corsa with no issues.Handy in an emergency situation!Great piece of kit I will keep in the car.Got my car battery changed the following week which was the issue, so have not used it since but definitely a great piece of equipment for emergencies & worked a treat when I needed it! :)

The instructions for use/connection are far from clear. The suggestion being to connect the wiring to the existing battery and plug into the device. This is the opposite to all other devices I have come across.There is small leaflet with a page called Attention containing 6 important issues. They are NOT IN ENGLISHe.g. Number 3 = If the car not be started, Please check whether the battery clip is good. The Battery The Joint is Rust or Dirt,To be cleanedAfter Attempts to continue to Boot. The 3 Time is Always UnableTo Start, Otherwise it Will Result in Production Product Damage, The Vehicle Should Be Further Examined if Ther are Other FaultsThe capital letters are on the leaflet.I have no confidence in this device and have returned it.

Very handy device just used it for first time totally flat battery in a vauxhall vivaro van 2.0 diesel left it less than 5 minutes went back started first time and it fits in a satnav case.

This is an amazing piece of kit. Used it several times helping other drivers out. Starts a car with a completely flat battery first time every time. Holds it charge for an age. Very compact and simple to use. Impressed! :)

We bought this charger when we were having battery troubles however when we actually needed to use it with a flat battery we found it was not up to the job despite being well within its supposed maximum capability. Unfortunately found out too late to return so a waste of money and would not recommend

Couldn't fully recharge my Samsung phone. Doesn't seem to hold its charge for more than a couple of days.Haven't had to use it to jumpstart anything yet, but not very confident that it will be up to the job.
