Honestly, I’ve spent way too money much trying to find a decent scaler/converter for ps2. I’ve tried all the big hitters, say for the retrotink devices, as they are too rich for my blood. Most the converters I’ve tried have have had pros and cons, but this little nugget really passes all the checks with flying colors. If you want a clean stable plug and play converter with a great picture, this is the one to get!

Very good quality cables with good shielding. I've tried two different no-name brand cables. One gave a slight green tint and one had interference. These are the ones to get. Works perfectly together with my GBS-Control.

As a long-time enthusiast of classic gaming, I've always been on the lookout for ways to rejuvenate my beloved PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 gaming experiences. Enter the HD Retrovision YPbPr Component Video Cable – a game-changer in the truest sense. Upon unboxing, the first thing that struck me was the build quality of the cable. It feels robust and well-made, reassuring me that it's designed to last. The connectors fit snugly into the console and TV, ensuring a stable connection devoid of any frustrating wiggles. The real magic, however, lies in the visual transformation. The moment I booted up my PS2, the difference was night and day. The colors popped with vibrancy that I never knew my old console could produce. Games that once looked blurry and washed out on modern TVs were now sharp and clear. The level of detail in games like 'Final Fantasy X' and 'Shadow of the Colossus' was truly impressive. It felt like breathing new life into classics. I was equally impressed with its performance on the PS3. The cable adeptly handled the more demanding graphics, delivering a crisp and immersive visual experience. The nuanced shades and improved clarity in games like 'Uncharted' and 'God of War' added an extra layer of enjoyment to my gaming sessions. One aspect that I particularly appreciate is the absence of any noticeable lag. The responsiveness was spot on, crucial for timing-sensitive games like 'Tekken' or 'Gran Turismo'. The audio quality was also notably clear, complementing the visual improvements well. In conclusion, the HD Retrovision YPbPr Component Video Cable is a must-have for anyone looking to extract the best visual performance from their PS2 or PS3 consoles. It stands as a testament to how older gaming systems can still offer a visually stunning experience on modern televisions. An essential purchase for retro gaming aficionados. Rating: 5/5

Highest picture quality you can get on your PS2 and analog PS3 output. You can feel how well made it is, just by how rigid it is. Actually, I'd say that's the only negative thing I have to say about it: if you're tight on space, the rigidity of the cable won't help much. You need to work around that by giving it more space around the back of the console, as it doesn't bend too much. Sure, it's expensive, but I'd say, most of us will go through many cables trying to find the best one, and usually end up spending the same amount or more, on too many cables, when we could've just went straight with this one.
