Useless in portrait
The eye cup is rock hard and is perfect for putting a lot of pressure exactly around the eyeball. I used it for all of 2 minutes before the eye socket was hurting. On top of that its useless in portrait mode as it it lets a lot more light in (100-150% more) on the outside of the eye you are shooting with. On top of that, it covers edges of the frame in portrait making edge composition a guessing game. in the video of the product, the rubber is shown squeezed which it is flexible vertically. However in z plane ( back and forth) when you move your eye to it, it is rock solid.

The main theme "Comfort"
This is being used on a D750. In comparison to the original eye cup design then his product is ultra comfortable. One thing to note for D750 users. With the original eye cup there is a little gaffer tape trick to secure it (probably well known in the D750 user circle) but this trick cannot be applied on this eye cup.

Pricey but good addition for comfort
Replaced the eye cup on my D7200 with this and it is comfortable. The contour is meant for landscape position shooting and when you do portrait orientation the piece isn't the most ideal. The only gripe is the price. At $20 dollars that is one expensive replacement piece.

Eyepiece Fits Without a Glitch but...
The rubber eyepiece arrived on time and installed within seconds. So far the rubber material appears of good quality and comfortable when used. The only complaint I have is the price as it does not justify 20$ for a rubber eyepiece. It is getting as expensive as OEM.
