Balaclava Head Sock White Single Layer

With COVID-19 going on we require that, when there are two people in a car being driven on track, both must use mouth and nose coverings. The eye port on this item is small enough that it serves that purpose well. This item is single layer and relatively light weight and as cool a balaclava as I've found. This is important when driving on track in warm/hot summer weather when it's almost always hot inside the car. I recommend this item to drivers doing High Performance Driver Education events or other similar events.

We bought for a friend that is a Sprint car driver for Christmas and he absolutely loves it and it is great quality, and is acceptable by the racetrack we race at because they do have stipulations on what you can and can't wear

This SFI Certified head sock is decent enough for the price. The first one I received had all of its stitching already fraying and two of the sewn pieces were misaligned by over a quarter inch! It looked like a two-year-old stitched it together with their eyes closed. Amazon sent a replacement the next day and the new one is much better as far as stitching and fabric alignment goes. The stitching is still on the lower quality side overall, but I believe it will hold up enough for my needs and, for the price, I find it to be an acceptable level of quality. There are a lot better quality head socks out there if you are willing to pay a little bit more (which I am not based on how often I will be using this).

Fits well and soft

Very well made product. Sizes run a little small. Overall excellent construction and materials.

Thin, poor quality item. Have their 2 layer which is much nicer. This one is junky and thin and fits too tightly.

Nice but needs to be longer. No protection in neck are if needed.

Soft fabric, washes easily, and I'm glad I bought it. Used this a few times all-day at the track, and it has kept a ton of sweat from getting stuck inside the helmet. Wearing a head sock also helps protect my neck from abrasion from a HANS device. It seems expensive to pay this much for a head sock, but I suppose that nomex is not cheap material.

En caso afirmativo, esta es una excelente opción ya que tiene un precio muy competitivo. La calidad de los materiales y las costuras son de buena calidad y resistencia. Al utilizar casco no se deforma, por lo cual es muy cómoda. No requiere grandes cuidados de lavado.

This is a great and simple balaclava for racing. The threading was a bit frayed on mine, but I melted it with a lighter to clean the frays.

Received the blue/black one, not the one shown on the pictures. Also the quality is quite bad for the price.
