Great Sketchbooks!
These sketchbooks have high-quality paper and are a nice change to printer paper. I have tried a few different mediums including, colouring pencils, biro, drawing pencils and multiple types of felt-tip pens. I have yet to try any paints but I feel they will go on well. Each sketchbook has a good amount of pages for the price and I like that it is spiral bound. Although, I would prefer it to be bound along the long edge rather than the short edge.

Good Quality Sketchbooks
I got these for my daughter who is an avid artist, good quality sketch books are surprisingly hard to find outside overpriced specialist art shops. This package has two A4 sketch books of 50 sheets each, the paper itself is off white, 120g paper. So fairly stiff and substantial. The quality is fine and the paper itself is thick enough to cope with watercolours, ink or fibretip as well as pencil or charcoal. They are spiral bound and perforated so a completed picture is easy enough to remove cleanly. These are great little mid range books for any aspiring artist.

A4 Sketch pad
These spiral bound A4 sketch pads are great for when sketching out in the open and you want to lay the pad flat out. You don't need to worry about the spine getting in the way. These have micro perforations so it is easy to tear off individual sheets. The paper has enough tooth to it so that you get a decent texture when you are drawing and it holds on to graphite and charcoal well, but it is not so textured that it is hard to get an even tone across the page. They are not heavy enough to hold up to alcohol markers or very wet media, but very few pads are, so this isn't to be held against it.These are great value for money and are decent enough to throw in a bag for when you want to sketch on the go.

Great quality pads.
You get 2 pads with 50 sheets of 120g paper that is suitable for pencil and pen. I've only used it for pencil and they are great. The description says they are "microperforated" which is a bit misleading as the perforations aren't that small and quite a few pages don' have any at all! Hence 4 stars for easy of use and overall. But I would just rip the page out from the spiral binder any way.

Great quality
These sketchbooks have good quality paper that is thick enough for the purpose I got them for. I am using them for sketching with graphite pencils, watercolour pencils and fine pens. They are easy to carry around and I particularly like the spiral binding as the books can always be laid down flat.

Pencil Paper
Nice standard A4 paper to sketch on. Takes pencil well. 120gsm is okay.

Thick, good quality pads
You can buy A4 pads for artwork for much less than this, but they wouldn’t be the same quality. The paper is really thick, and is fine for watercolours, ink, charcoal etc. The surface is fairly smooth, with a slight roughness which aids absorption but doesn’t impede tone or consistency of lines. The spiral binding on the narrow edge makes it easy to tear sheets off, and as the description says is equally OK whether you are right-handed or left-handed. The back is thick, stiff cardboard, providing a good base to work on even if you are sketching outside.

Good quality paper for pecil sketching
My 12-year-old granddaughter loves any kind of creative craft, but since starting secondary school she has really taken an interest in pencil drawing. She can often be found with a pencil and piece of paper in her hand so I gave her one of these sketch books thinking that it would be better for her to keep her artwork together in the book rather than dotted around her room on odd scraps of paper. My granddaughter says the slight texture isn’t noticeable when she is sketching and she likes the way the shade and smudge effect that she creates with her finger looks. My Granddaughter found the back cover sturdy enough to put pressure on when she is sketching outside and she also likes it that the book is spiral bound because she doesn’t have any creasing when she turns to the next sheet. I read other reviews prior to getting these sketch pads so was aware that the paper is slightly less than A4 size when you remove it on the perforated line, but I think that a picture could still go into an A4 frame with the addition of a mount. My granddaughter is really happy with her sketch pad and I am pleased to see how well she is doing with her drawing.
