I installed this on the back of my flat bed to connect my backup camera from my camper. So far it works flawlessly.

Easy to install and a great replacement for what I needed.

I, honestly, things these should come with a pigtail so people can crimp or solder to that. If you are not a pro at soldering, there is a fat chance you will attach this without melting plastic that holds the pings, plus your soldering iron needs a very fine tip to work with these.I have years and years of soldering experience.I’ve been fixing electronics as a hobby for years and years, but I struggled there.I had to solder this connector to a coiled phone handset wire. If you ever seen these, they are a string wrapped into thinner than 32ga that is weaved with a fiber string of sorts and coated with something. By the time you rove the string and some of fabric, you got 4 thing wires that don’t stay together when you twist them together. They are also ridiculously hard to primer. So,Soldering those waited into a connector like this is hard and you end up havingv your soldering iron tip there for longer than usual. And that ends up rapidly heating up everything around it and melts the plastic.

very small, but good quality

The connector is very small and the wire connections need to be soldered. It may work for a small project if someone has the patience, tools and skills to make the soldered connections but it’s not the right connector for my project.
