I bought the ASPECTEK 20 W Electric Bug Zapper to deal with flies and moths in the house, and honestly, I’m impressed. It’s been running for a couple of weeks now, and here’s what I’ve found.Build & SetupIt feels well-made—metal housing with a protective cage so you don’t accidentally touch the grid. I had it unpacked, plugged in, and working in under two minutes. You can either hang it up or just place it on a countertop.PerformanceWithin minutes of switching it on, I noticed it catching bugs. The zap sound is pretty quiet, just a little pop when something gets hit, which I actually find satisfying. I’ve used it mainly in the kitchen and living room, and it’s made a noticeable difference—far fewer flies buzzing around.Cleaning & MaintenanceThe tray at the bottom slides out easily, so emptying it is quick. I give it a rinse every few days, and that’s it. I like that it comes with two spare bulbs, so I won’t need to worry about replacements for a while.

Don't waste your time and money, the product worked fine for two days, then a loud pop and it went dead, changed the fuse and still nothing. Returning the item now for refund as unable to contact supplier.It's a pity, because when it was working for those two days it was quite effective ... if anyone is still considering buying one then also be aware that the cable is very short, it's only 1.3 meters long, plus because it comes out of the back of the unit it will not sit flat against the wall if wall mounted.

As described, speedy delivery and great comms.Very sturdy for size, bonus is spare bulbs as not always easy to source. Do the job effectively would certainly recommend.

Best product for those pesky flies.

The unit stopped working within one hour of being switched on. The fuse in the plug was still working (checked in another appliance) and the wall socket was still working (checked with another appliance). The bulbs were obviously brand new so it was possible but unlikely that both had blown in the first few minutes. No flies were harmed in the course of this experience.

I bought this product to eradicate flies from my home. I have 2 African grey parrots and their food and droppings attractive flies. The product has worked in killing nearly all the flies in my home.The downside to an otherwise effective product is the noise that it makes when killing insects. The bang is quite loud considering the size of the unit, enough that it frightens my birds. It also makes me jump if anywhere near it.Even though it kills some flies, there's still some after 2 days of the unit being on. It's not like flies just cannot resist the attraction of UV light, it could be that they just happen to land on the unit, just as they would land on any other random surface.It is making somewhat of a difference therefore is an effective tool for controlling flies.I'd recommend buying it as it may also be effective in killing other insects during the summer months.

Es lo mejor que hemos comprado. Desde el primer día ha matado moscas, mosquitos de esos gigantes y unos bichitos pequeños que no sé qué son. La verdad que el ruido que hace cuando algún bicho se pega es grande y mis perros están muy asustados, pero es el mejor aparato que hemos comprado. Lo recomiendo.

Alırken çok araştırdım, verilen paraya değecek bir ürün almak istedim , bahçede kullanıyoruz ve artık sinek ilacı kullanmaktan kurtuldum. Evet sineklerin yanma sesi biraz yüksek çıkıyor ama alisiyorsunuz böyle bir performans beklemiyordum o kadar memnun kaldım ki tüm çevreme anlattım ve öneriyorum mutlaka her eve gereken bir ürün hiç düşünmeden alın aldirin! Deneyerek yazmak istedim 10numara ürün yedek ampuller için de teşekkürler...

The last two that I had failed. In one, the lighting board failed and the other, the zapper board failed. I took the zapper board out of the unit that had the failed lighting board and installed it in the unit that had the failed zapper board and the unit now works. No problem at this time. I also ordered a new unit and the quality appears to have improved in the basic structure. Hopefully, the lighting and zapper boards will work well in the new unit.
