Incredible writing that submerges your mind and emotions. In the Blood exceeded expectations!
Honestly, I thought it would be very hard to top the previous 4 books. However, each time I read one, I would think the same thing about the next one. So, when I got, " In the Blood" yesterday I was thinking it would be good of course, however, this book is incredible, and I could not put it down. This book is a masterpiece and his attention to detail is what separates Jack Carr from the pack.Wow, thank you Jack Carr and keep writing. You get it and so does James Reece.

Literal Deus Ex Machina
Every hero does larger than life deeds and gets help from unexpected allies. From Bond to Bourne, from Ryan to Reese, we accept it as part of creating stories more enticing than real life. But for a certain type of literature, those strongly based on the author’s own set of very special skills and experience, I would rather prefer that they maintain at least one of their feet on the ground. On his 5th novel, Jack Carr decided to go all the way into action movie blockbuster mode to bring us a new and unexpected help to Reese’s never-ending misfortunes in the form of his very own Wintermute, or maybe more like Cortana. So, I guess James Reese is now officially Master Chief’s great-great-great-great-grand-daddy and The Terminal List series is just a prologue to Halo.Looking forward to book 6 where Reese goes to another planet to fight the Covenant. In The Blood could have been the best book in the series if not for the singularity BS.

Absolutely amazing
This is one of Commander Jack Carrs best yet. I read the book and couldn't put it down. It's amazing how he can keep you on the edge of your seat through the whole book and give as much detail as he can. Makes you really think about what's out there that we don't know about. The only bad part of the book is that it leaves you wanting more.I can't wait til his next book comes out.

Reece is back
So glad to have James Reece back in action. This is back on par with the first three in the series. Unlike book 4, the Reece storyline is back in rare form with all intensity and action. With the exception of Oleg, the filler was kept short and intentional to build the storyline AND the storyline picked up where we were left after Savage Son. Can't wait for the next one and the movie, of course!

Outstanding addition to the Terminal List series!
When I finished In the Blood I sat, mouth open, and wanted to start it again immediately. Jack Carr has outdone himself with In the Blood, building on his success with his first 4 novels in the Terminal List series. The pacing is exquisite, the detail is perfect, and the action continues to pull you in. Jack has shown he is the master of the political thriller genre, drawing on his years as a Navy Seal sniper and his interest in military history to provide details in his books which brings them to life.

Jack Carr crushes it again!
Mr. Carr, now a seasoned veteran in the genre, continues to hone his craft and produce excellently written, exquisitely descriptive, action packed narratives we can’t put down. His writing gets better and better putting him up there with the greats in thrillers. In The Blood put a creative twist and perspective on the sniper vs sniper tale, giving it a more cerebral chess match then stare down the scope and shoot your adversary through their scope story. And just when you think there is calm, think again.

quite a good, rollicking, jaw-clenching adventure
James Reece cannot get vengeance from his blood, and when an old friend from Mossad dies from a plane crash caused by “terrorists, he is on the road again. In this book, James visits Israel and learns of life and death in that beleaguered nation. Well, along with visits to a few, more familiar places. Enough said. It is good, quite a page turner. Read it.

He did it again!
Jack just keeps getting better in developing James Reece. Masterful work and imagery. This guy puts his heart and soul into each book and it shows. You will definitely see his name next to Roark, Clancy, Hemingway, and Silva. Counting the days to book 6.
