This album is amazing When I first heard the first track on youtube ...
"Im giving you an amazon review to tell you how I feel..."Simply put: This album is amazingWhen I first heard the first track on youtube by album surfing and the man said "When our hero emerged he and the car had become one..."I laughed so hard, then everything that comes after that is not only just as 80's sounding but it sounds like lightning bolts are coming through your speakers no joke listen to "Protovision" on YouTube.I advise everyone to look up the album and listen to it once before buying it... that way you can make a smart decisionAnd everyone I've had the privilege of sharing the song "Nightcall" with immediately loves itThe whole album is like a story centered around a zombie teenager who died as a kid in a car accident and comes back to make music. It's entertaining (The first song) it's reckless (Protovision) and its defiantly better than whats probably playing on your radio...So go listen and hopefully the Testarossa driving zombie won't find you...

Crisp, exhilarating and moody... Simply magnificent.
I don't remember when I first heard of Kavinsky, but I assume it was through Sebastian's beautiful remix of "Testarossa Autodrive".I immediately wanted to hear the original version, and discovered Outrun. After listening it for many months first on Spotify and then on CD, I finally decided to buy the LP.It was everything I expected and more. The album is masterfully crafted. The print quality is amazing, and the art direction shines a bright light on the magnificent music of Kavinsky. If you want to lose yourself in a nostalgic era you will never ever experience again -i.e. The 80s', and you have a thing for vinyl music, you'll definitely want to buy this one.You don't have to be a fiend for electronic music to enjoy the absolutely terrific sound of Outrun; so give it a go. You won't regret it.

Worth the shot in the Dark. Amazing Album!
This is literally my first Electronic album. I first heard Nightcall (probably with so many other people) from the Drive Soundtrack and immediately fell in love with that sound of electronica. I've been poking around on youtube listening to other songs from this artist when at work. Some are calming, the other are good if you want to "jam out" on your stereo system, and others are good for jogging. From the sound and the very 80s story the album conveys, it's a nostalgic piece of work. So after taking a gander and I decided to buy this physically with the AutoRip service from Amazon to listen to it at work immediately. I am very pleased with my purchase. Even inside the jewel case, the album artwork is fun to browse throughIt's like screen caps from an 80s movie.Worth. Every. Digital. Penny. Here's hoping this guy does not lose his edge.

Good retro/synthwave/whatever starter. Favorite track: Endless
This album is fun, mysterious, brooding, and sweeping all at once and I definitely recommend it to anyone interested in electronic music in general, but especially those who have come to enjoy the 80s/retro inspired electronica that this album contains. I think Kavinsky does a pretty good job of not necessarily getting stuck in the very characteristic sound elements that many retro-inspired artists tend to. However, I'm not giving a full five stars because there are a couple tracks on here that I just don't really care for.

So I most definitely recommend this seller
New album, not a scratch, perfectly packed, arrived in time without delays. So I most definitely recommend this seller. My only (small) regret is with the album itself: a download code or a CD is usually provided inside the LPs these days so you can have the electronic file as well. To be fair it was not advertised as being included so it is no one mistake, it is down to the major or the artist to include it. So I got what I wanted and give it 5 stars, hoping that Kavinsky will provide the mp3 files with his next LP releases.

SYNTHESIZERS!!
Ok, so when I was a kid growing up, I hated the music from the 80's. Seriously, I thought it was terrible and cheesy. Now, as an adult, for some reason anything with synthesizers in it makes my heart do flip-flops of happiness. So, you can imagine how much I love this album. Not only is it full of awesome 80's goodness, I'm a fan of the themes of the songs - generally about cars and such. Which, you know... not like there are any lyrics on most of the songs. Kinda sorta irritated with the random rap; when I was listening to this dude on his soundcloud I heard no rap at all... but aside from that, this album is awesome sauce.

Outrun.
Surprisingly, it seems like people havent known of Kavinsky before his song "Night call" got into movies. Hes been around for awhile now. I've been a fan since 2007 when he went on tour with Daft Punk. I've personally been waiting for his album to drop for quite a few years now so i pre-ordered this when i heard it was available. I'd like to think Kavinsky was the front runner of the genre of Outrun. Its actually a big movement in music and has been for some time. Anyways this album is amazing and worth a listen. Pretty epic.

Kavinsky
I don't often write reviews, but this artist seemed to be going unnoticed relative to the quality of the music - that is to say, it's pretty great. Very heavy 80s sound combined with some fantastic beats and occasional vocals. Altogether very catchy and foot-tapping listen, and not at all generic. My musical knowledge is fairly limited, but there really aren't many artists that have this style of music afaik (let alone pull it off as effectively as this). Also, the voice in the opening in the ending songs is a nice, appropriately 80s (and veritably cheesy) touch.

Vinyl at a great price
I could not believe how cheap this was!Vinyl is normally two or three times costlier than CD bout not in this case, and what exactly do you get for your money??........ an awesome musical experience that fully deserves a place on vinyl, yes there are cd's that sound terrific, I personally have a very high end audio system 1000'of £'s worth BUT ...... Kavinski's album truly deserves to be played on Vinyl . Some of its contents were used in the 2011 film 'DRIVE' and if you've been graced with the honour of watching this masterpiece then you'll appreciate the album via vinyl even more. However you decide to buy it though Vinyl or CD .....just buy it, it's perfect .
