Great idea but needs better execution
As an avid fiber artist and witch this book seemed to be a perfect meld of the two crafts. While the ideas in the book have lead to my own creativity, I am constantly having to correct the patterns. I do not know if this is a pattern testing issue or an inadequate editing on the publisher side of things, but how did get printed? I would love to see a second edition with all the pattern corrections made.

Awful
I could go on and on. The ideas are nice but the projects are ugly. The pattern writing is terrible. If it wasn't for the fact I have already had to write corrections in it, I would demand a refund. I didn't know I was going to have to be a pattern tester. Save yourself the money and find free patterns that are nicer and properly written. Or support independent artists and buy patterns through etsy or ravelry. This was just a play to make money on the quick, I think.

Don't include crochet charts if you aren't going to provide a symbols guide in the book.
I was quite disappointed with the book, if you are going to include charts for crochet patterns whether the pattern is written out or not you need to include a Symbols Guide, I checked the book page by page twice and there was no guide and if there was a reference as to where to find a source I missed it. The symbols may confuse a beginner and the many people who crochet that have never followed a chart so the neglect of a symbols guide is the main reason I didn't care for the book. When I purchase a crochet book, or any craft book, I want everything at my fingertips, I don't want to have to buy a book of chart symbols or go to the internet to find symbols. There should have to be full disclosure on the front cover that a book is not all inclusive, which seems to be a trend lately with other books I have bought for example oh hey if you want these additional patterns included in the photos in the book go to my website to download them, when this happens and it has, I will leave a lackluster review or return the book. There are some nice patterns any crocheting Witch will be happy to make, the elemental crystal bags, the dream pouch and even the tea cozy. Just don't let the charts distract you. If you want to learn the symbols simply do an internet search for crochet chart symbols.

Patterns missing that are claimed to be in the book.
Tried the witch hat, counted stitches religiously and used a marker, stitch count was off but I ran with it, it worked out BUT I bough the book specifically for the hat pattern AND the wand cases, not one single wand case pattern was in there and I flipped thru more than enough times and read every page. The book claims to have wand case patterns but I didn’t see a single one.
