MizunoWave Inspire 16 mens Road Running Shoe

I just ran 8k and came home with a big blister on the arch of my left foot, thanks to the design of these shoes. There are two seams running vertically on the inside of the shoe, which cause major chafing. It felt like there as a pebble or some foreign object in my shoe and I kept taking it off throughout the run to try to get the thing out, but there was nothing to come out - I was feeling these seams.As you can see in the photo, one of the seams is an elastic webbing attached to the tongue of the shoe. This is something new in the 17 version -- the tongue did not have this webbing in Mizuno Wave Inspire 11, the version I upgraded from.What an unfortunate design change. I miss my 11 versions.

I love the comfort and fit of these shoes. But I am surprised how quickly the sole is wearing. I have an old pair of Wave Inspire 8 still kicking around with no issues. I have had these ones 8 months (but did not wear much through the winter) and the forefoot sole is almost fully worn through! Is this normal????

Es un buen tenis ya había utilizado esta marca, solo que en la descripción no viene que tan ancho o angosto es el tenis, creo que es el ancho normal que se maneja en México, ojala lo indicar, porque el dedo pequeño del pie izquierdo me aprieta un poco, espero que con el uso de de si y ya no me aprieta, peor por lo demás es muy cómodo. y el color es increíble

So far the show is pretty good, no complaints. It's a bit heavier than I'm used to and for the first hour of running it was rubbing on my heel a bit but it doesn't do that anymore. All in all a good shoe, but next time I might look for something a bit lighter that breathes more.
