Buffalo Games - Aimee Stewart - Cosmic Marbles - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

…and the splendid colorfulness make Cosmic Marbles a lot of fun. It’s all so carefully contrived, I can forgive the repetition that seems a little lazy on Stewart’s part, and once I began to recognize “trick questions” it became a lot more possible. There were times, though, I was sure I had it but, alas, the variations became apparent and the hunt was back on. It’s a pretty well made puzzle, as one expects of Buffalo and Stewart, a little shiny. I got it on sale. I always wait for sales 😁

This is a fun build as you can build each circle by using the print out they include to see all of the detail. The only downfall I had with this puzzle was that there were a lot of twisted pieces. I was able to bend them in the opposite direction to get most of them to lay flat, however some would still not lay flat. Also, if you want to take the puzzle apart afterwards, then you will spend some time as you have to take it apart piece by piece. It is nice that it fits together so snugly though.

I did a lot of puzzles in my day but this was the one I loved best. It’s hard and it takes a week for me to have it done. I am going to hang it up, It will be my first to do that.

Received USED puzzle with big chucks of the puzzle already completed. Many pieces with bent tabs. You can see that the first purchaser reglued the box shut after doing the puzzle and then returning it. Returning. I'm not touching a puzzle that some thief's grubby hands have been on. Was so excited about the puzzle as it looks super cool. Reordering. Marking the returned item's box so I know if they send me the same one again. Sigh.

I loved this puzzle. It was quite tough to get started on but once I separated the colors it was a little better. One thing to point out is that some of the marbles are repeated multiple times through the puzzle. This did not bother me but it added to the challenge. Some may really dislike this feature though.
