Scuddles thought of everything! You just pack your food and beverages, and you are ready for an adventure. We got this as a Christmas present. My wife and I have said, we can't wait to try it out.This is "real" quality! The food part is thick and well insulated. It has a pretty thick waterproof backed blanket. I like the way it folds with the cover and straps facing the rear, verses to the side and rolled up, that gets more in your way. If you are going to where there are picnic tables, it is detachable, so less weight. There is also an insulated detachable bottle carry, for wine, soda, etc. Nice feature. Zippers are first rate. The straps are wide so they want dig into your shoulders. They are not padded very well, so if hiking, you may want to put some cushion in between the straps and your shoulder. Nice neutral colors. Water resistant. Dishes, etc. are good quality .Can you believe they include a reusable,light plastic, washable bag to place the dirty dishes in, after you messed them up? This prevents them from getting everything else dirty. Brilliant! Very versatile for picnicking: For example, while camping; hiking; riding bikes; canoeing; riding your motorcycle(carry in the rear compartment or on your back if you like). Also of course, just a regular picnic, for the two of you or your kids(it has service for 4). As you can see, this is very versatile, seeing it opens up way more possibilities, than a traditional wicker(and others like that) picnic basket. Extra possibilities makes all the difference, and that was one of the reasons we choose this item. Also quality and the company says they will replace or refund with "no questions asked". Definitely worth 5 stars and should last for years.

The Scuddles XL Picnic Basket got its first use during the Hurricane Harvey event in Houston. I used it to replace my stand alone soft cooler. It looked like I might have to leave as the flooding got worse and the Picnic Basket was great for evacuation purposes as it already had servings for 4, a large insulated cooler compartment to store lots of items from my refrigerator, and space for add on items such as napkin packs, extra paper plates, etc. With all the other things I was getting ready to pack in my Jeep the ability of the Picnic Basket to pack a days worth of cold foods and ice along with its integral serving set was an invaluable space saver. Of course all these features make it great for a picnic too, which is what it was designed for. It just so happened that it got a workout in an emergency first. The design of the handles made it possible for me to fit a waterproof rolled up picnic blanket between then, then use the shoulder strap to carry everything. Luckily things worked out so that I was able to stay, albeit with wet carpets everywhere but the hallway. I'm pleased with the flexibility of the Picnic Basket and it seems to be well made and durable, with quality stitching, fabric, color coordination with the design stripe and overall color, and picnic supplies, so I'm looking forward to years of use in less stressful circumstances with this buy.

I love that this insulated picnic bag is not huge yet can hold a lot. Best feature is the fact that it comes with utensils, plates, glasses and a cutting board. We were able to eat a cheese and meat plate at the beach.

I received one of these as a gift and loved the durability. It’s a bit heavy but each side item / pocket is removable so you only have to carry what you want. This year we held a raffle for our employees as a Christmas fun bonus and I put this item in. It was the second most coveted item (the first being a tv) every different age/lifestyle etc..wanted this item! Very nice quality.
