Take two
AP Nutrition are a UK brand established in 2015 and selling exclusively through Amazon. If you have any questions they can advise you on their products and this could be useful if they have data on how this product has fared in any studies they've carried out. The truth is, it's hard to test a supplement in a narrow timeframe (I've not noticed a difference) and results will vary according to the lifestyle and profile of the user so you are well advised to do your own research. To be honest, I think AP Nutrition's website is a little sparse and whilst it's not a dealbreaker it's a missed opportunity to build a rapport with the customer and validate your product. That being said, these are a value-for-money supplement and the fact that they are pungent is no bad thing. It is annoying, having to take four a day, but it's almost a certainty that they contain more vitamins and minerals than you need. I would take two and see how you go, but you really need to write down what you eat for a month and work out what your mean intake of nutrients is and adjust.

Giving my liver a helping hand!
It's hard to review food supplements like these as their effect can take some time to show. I have fatty liver disease and have tried various vitamin supplements and herbal concoctions to give the old liver a hand. Most have concentrated on the B vitamins which are essential to liver maintenance. This supplement is no exception but adds D,E,C vitamins and folic acid, zinc and copper. A good broad mix. Importantly I have discontinued other vitamin pills while taking these (to avoid over intake. My GP O.K'd them for me. It is however essential that you check with your medical practitioner before taking these. The usual disclaimers are on the bottle that the supplement is not diagnostic nor therapeutic. What does differ is the inclusion of coline, a nutrient that has beneficial effects mostly in other fields but also in liver maintenance. N-acetylcysteine (NAC) is also included. The studies I managed to find for this suggested that it was protective of liver damage due to ethanol (i.e from booze) and helped repair damage (at least in mice). I am no nutritionist or physiologist so cannot verify any such findings but I am willing to give them a bash. The pills are large and the dose is four a day. I have no problem swallowing them but I am sure some could have. I find them tasteless , which is good, and they don't give you the burpy taste of brewers yeast. All together they had no adverse effects to-date. I will let you know if any should arise but I will continue of them for now and hope my liver appreciates the effort.

Errgh.
Well, I've not really noticed anything, but then it's a supplement to aid liver health. But i don't understand why you have to take 4 tablets. Why not concentrate ut to take 1 or two.. if the powder was formed in to a solid table rather than a capsule... just a thought.. but at least doing that they could coat them, as they taste awful...

no taste, straight down the hatch
Not an easy ask to review these types of supplements without any real evidence of the positve impact they are having, some of it just needs to be taken at face value in terms of the ingredients and what the research says about its effects - easier to report no adverse side effects. On that note, taking these for a month i did not suffer any adverse effects, and reading the ingredients I'm pretty certain the plethora of proven ingredients will have had a positive impact on my health. The capsules aren't large, and swallowing 4 a time isn't a tall order, although don't forget you don't have to have all 4, its a recommendation, you could choose to take just 2 a day - just my opinion..I like using liver supplements occasionally, I like to think it will help negate the impact of the occasional binge drinking I subject my body to!5 stars from me and my liver, and my barman

Easy to swallow capsules
I suffer from Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD), so I'm always on the lookout for supplements that might help me as my condition isn't treated on the NHS. I take a number of supplements daily that were recommended by a book I got on Amazon a few years ago and the latest research I read last year. This supplement contains folate, choline and artichoke, which are 3 of the supplements I take daily, plus they also contain turmeric, which is a good anti-inflammatory. You take 4 capsules once a day, so all at the same time, so this tub will last for a month. Considering that it is replacing 3 of my current supplements, I don't think that's bad value at £9.99 at the time of writing this review. I don't actually feel any better from taking these supplements but my bloodwork has improved massively and my doctor has told me to continue doing what I'm doing as he thinks it's working.

You need 4 a day and they're quite large.
Supplements are difficult to review because they often take a few months to show benefits or you only notice they've worked when you stop taking the. It's a good strong bottle with a regular screw top and security seal. You take 4 tablets a day but I've eased into this amount by starting at 1 a day fir a few, days then 2 a day and do on just in case they triggered my IBS. They didn't. At this amount the bottle will last a month. The tablets do have a, strange odour and a little bit of an aftertaste but not for long. They smell of when I cook a liver stew for my dog, quite a fsrty smell. They're large capsules but are easy to swallow with a drink (avoid if large capsules cause you problems). If they do help your liver they're worth the £9.99 a month but as mentioned it's difficult to know if they do work.
