A must buy for a tent. This has held through major storms.
I had my tent up during two major storms that were in my area. One severe thunder storm and a tornado touching down near the tent. When I say near I mean 3/4mile away from it. Winds of up to 90 mph. Tent was plenty sturdy but what helped big time was the stakes. It rained quite a bit and the wind was strong. Lots of stress on the stakes. You could it was high stakes having the tent stakes be tested by a tornado touch down near it and high winds.Anyways I think these stakes should be standard with every tent. It stays in well into the ground under high stress.Well worth the price and purchase.

Perfect For The Beach
We have a pop-up LL Bean tent for our little one that we use on the beach. The stock stakes that come with it have no barbs or grip and after going back to the house for lunch, we returned to our tent rolling down the beach. Not so with these monsters. They can survive a strong wind and that tent stays puts. They are great for the beach and easy to twist into the sand. If you were using this for camping in the woods or solid ground I think it may be difficult to get them into the dirt but we have not tried it. However for sand or soft soil these are A+.

Felt very confident with these in
Sandy soil makes you nervous to camp when a storm blows thru, but these held realy well. A lil difficult to screw into the ground and yes we broke one. But I've seen some people use the drill to drive them in no problem. Had these on the tent and canopy, no issue. Even tied down the neighbors canopy when it started to blow away and no issue after that.
