If you can’t get to the axes bring the axes to you
Bought these for my husband for Christmas and spent an afternoon in the wood-shop making him a target. The nearest ax throwing spot for us is 1+ hrs away. Now it’s in our own back yard. So far, these seem to be good quality and easy to maneuver. Good buy!

Well made
Got for young man who wanted to learn to throw an axe! Set of 3 nice price and fits the throwing rules!

Not a bad axe with a little work!!!
The media could not be loaded. Kid tested, father approved!!! This trio of axes held up to four hours of abuse by people with little to no experience in axe throwing. We bounced them off boards, hit the handle side first, and plain missed the target several times. One even went through the pallet we were using to hold the target without breaking. Overall, for the price, I would not hesitate to recommend these to someone wanting to try out the sport. As a bonus they came with sheaths!!!A few tips:Expect to sharpen them. The edges didn't receive a lot of care or attention at the factory. There is way to much finish on the handles. Scrap or sand some off.Wet your target. It's what the pros do to help the axe stick.Final thoughts, it is a good way to have some fun with friends. If you want an amazing throwing axe out of the box this isn't what you're looking for. However, with a little work they'll do just fine.

Decent profile, lighter than others, but broke 1 of the 6 on the first outing.
We bought six to try out and liked the profile (better for sticking in targets). Our comparison is to Harbor Freight's inexpensive axes. The JXEs are nicer to throw, better feeling handles and balance. However they are not built nearly as well, and we had one handle break the first event we did with them.We will probably stick with the HF axes but will have to re-profile them. The HF axes are much better built.

Great quality
Hundreds of throws on each one. No visible damage. Everything still works great. I would suggest, prior to throwing, grind down the angle of the edge for a better stick.

Weak handles
Opened package and everything seemed good. Edges were rounded over from the sharpening process but cleaned up nice with a quick file. Unfortunately, after just a couple throws, one handle shattered and when inspecting the others, found another handle loose. Unfortunately the quality of the handles is terrible. Do not recommend buying these if you intend to use for targets.

Not sturdy enough for throwing
These axes are a nice weight to throw but I was sent a replacement one and that one broke after 2 throws
