Reliable over a year despite heavy use
I installed 5 of these in potentially wet locations (sinks, porches, etc.). One was defective and was replaced promptly with a personalized letter of apology from Topele. All 5 are still working perfectly after over a year. Our school policy is to put any GFCI outlet into TEST mode if it is within child height, so we have to RESET them every time we need to use them. They are holding up fine. The one that is not within child height does not trip accidentally and works good. It is a good price for tamper resistant feature. We are satisfied.

Fixed my problem.
The outlet on my deck died. It was cross wired with one of these receptacles in a different location ( I don’t know if it’s just my luck, but there appears to be no rhyme or reason to how things are paired). The connections’ metal color is similar with the one it replaced( silver and gold) so it was not confusing.I do not like stabbed receptacles as they tend to overheat, and this looked like one so I damaged the threads on a screw trying to make room for wire to be wrapped. It does not work like that.On closer inspection, it is not a stab connection as there are metal plates inside that are tightened by the screw.I reused a screw from the old outlet, but it’s best not to damage it to begin with.So don’t try to wrap the wire around the screw, it’s not long enough and you will damage the threads.

Easy to install and priced well
These are a great value. I have installed 20 in a 1929 ungrounded house to allow for code passage as the only means of having a three prong outlet. While these are generally standard size I'd you are replacing them in a old house the box can be very tight as they were made for smaller outlets prevously. I recently had an electrician in to run a new main line to the house he tested and inspected some outlets to make sure everything was up to par and said the installation and outlet was better than most he had seen. I highly recommend LEVER connectors over nuts and if code allows a short connector rather than a direct connect to the outlet. In a prevous comment there was a permanent indicator light on. This means the unit is incorrectly installed. (This can be extremely difficult to figure out.) This generally occurs when connecting multiple outlets downline. It can be unintuitive but once you overcome the annoyance it is a great sign they are correctly wired. I also highly recommend testing the outlet with a light prior to full installation as another sign of incorrect wiring can be the reset popping when something is plugged in even without power. The only change I would make aside from size and a better troubleshooting section in the instructions would be making the WR white so it is less noticeable indoors.

It came with everything I needed and was very easy to install (I am not an electrician)
I was concerned when buying this outlet online but was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It came with everything I needed and was very easy to install (I am not an electrician). Worked so well I bought another which I was also pleased with. Not made of cheap material and looks very nice.

Well designed with clear instructions. Tested it after installation and everything works great. Just make sure you strip your wires at least as much as the gauge on the back shows, the box can handle a little extra and the screws don't clamp the wire properly if it's too short.

Easy and Cheap
UPDATE: I've purchased two of these so far (with the intention of replacing these throughout the home) and they are not the same units. They are both from this listing, but the buttons and the indicator lights are not in the same place. If you are looking for conformity in look, I'd purchase what you need all at once. (I ordered mine over the last couple months.)Easy to use. Love the light indicator as to how it is working. I'm buying more already.

This product added needed safety to my apartment kitchen sink counter top
I enjoy the knowledge that both side of my kitchen sink are ground fault protected. The apartment counter outlets were standard non TP outlets so I purchased two TOPELE TR outlets and bridged them on each side of the sink counter. I also like the LED signaling the condition of the outlets. The only difficulty in installation was the larger depth of the outlet when installing in a wall mounted box made for a standard outlet. It just takes a little extra effort in wire placement to get the GFCI outlet to fit.

Needlessly stupid design. 3 reasons why you should buy another GFCI
I've successfully installed several brands of GFCIs and have never had so much trouble before this Topele, for two reasons:1) If you accidentally remove one of the screws from the post, it doesn't go back in. EASY PERMANENT DAMAGE. It's very easy to strip, rendering the entire thing useless or worse, unsafe if you still try to use it.... WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT: A safe receptacle means it must be 100% tight or else it begins the cascade: bad connection > heat > loosening > arcing > FIRES.2) The captive screws are completely loose when not screwed tight, meaning that when you try to insert a wire you cannot so much as bump the screw, otherwise it leans into the terminal and prevents you from installing it easily. So frustrating and easily prevented with proper design.3) The loose screws wouldn't be a deal breaker except the housing around the screws makes them too deep to reach a needlenose pliers in to assist you. Any electrician will tell you there's a precise length and position to safely install a receptacle and this needlessly stupid design makes it basically impossible to use a pliers to assist in a proper install.
