Hope it truly decodes the older cars into the new reader
I have not tried it yet but I am hopeful that it will translate to the modern coder I have.

Didn't work with my 94 F-150.
I got this to use with my Ford 94 f150. It looked like it was working but I was unable to read any codes. Couldn't read any real time data either. Nicely made cable probably will work fine for some other application.

Cheap & works
I'm able to connect my Snap on Modis into my 89 Bronco 2 and communicate. Win in my book!

Didn’t work for my 1993 F-150 5.0
The adapter didn’t fit the obd1 plug on my truck I had to take a utility knife to the inside of the adapter that goes to the obd1 and shave the inside bigger to make it fit, now for the weird part, I plugged it into my scanner and it didn’t turn on my scanner but for some reason it turned on my fuel pump as soon as I plugged in the scanner and when I would unplug the scanner the fuel pump turned off right away which doesn’t make any sense but it happened, this might work with a different scanner but idk i wouldn’t risk it

Does not work
Connected this adapter to my vehicle, and then to my ODB II scanner, and it would not work. It failed to read from the onboard computer to the ODB II scanner. So it is safe to say, that this adapter does not work with the Ford ODB connection port.
