I bought these to attach to two multi-tier shoe racks that sit one in front of the other in my closet so that I could easily move them for easy access. They work great, glide easily across the floor and are very sturdy so I expect them to last a very long time. The only draw back was having not done a project like this before and based on the pictures I assumed I would be able to easily attach to the hollow poles on the shoes rack with the stem. I thought the casters would come with everything I need but apparently I also need a sleeve to help the stem stay put when inserted. Found away around that though; I just created a plug with masking tape wrapped around the stem. With a few adjustments to make sure the fit was snug enough they worked great and no one would ever know what I used for the plug without pulling out a wheel 😁.

So, I bought them open box. while a great product. I wonder if they were returned due to the stem not being of the thread pitch they advertised. Used a die to "clean" the threads- I was able to install them. I don't have any regrets. Would definitively buy again even if I had to repair the threads.

I would absolutely give this product 5 stars for quality, packaging and delivery. The only problem is that these casters do not fit a standard 3/8" 16/1 thread as advertised. I even took the foot off of one of my shelving units and went to the hardware store to have it measured to make sure my measurements were correct. These casters seemed well built and exactly what I was looking for, at a great price too! I'm disappointed that they didn't fit. Thankfully, the return process was seamless with no issues from Amazon. I should have read the reviews first, which I usually do. Lesson re-learned.

These are 10-1.5 thread, not 3/8-16 - fyi. other than that they are decent casters and worked well for the job.

Stem thread was M10 x 1.50mm. I was able to drill and rethread for the metric thread but should not of had to. At the time of this review this caster set was the only one available with wheels without locks I need for my application or I would have sent them back.

Stem is short and a bit tight to screw in.

I randomly chose these casters for their size and good reviews, I actually installed them onto a sofa in my shop to roll around move in front of the tv and then lock the casters so you can lean back and enjoy the game, these easily support 3 adults and lock firmly into place keeping the couch put

These casters do not fit the rack that it claims to fit. The casters were a waste of money and the seller refuses to provide a return. Bad buy. Never again!
