IN the past I have always used the waterproof type sun shade.. They work fine. But the biggest drawback is that they only last about 12-14 months here in the Florida Sunshine. Aster that they simple get sun rot and rip apart. I have not yet found one that is made with Sunbrella fabric. My bimini tops on my pontoon boats have always been made of Sunbrella and they last for more than 5 years. These are cheap enough that I don't mind buying a new one each year, if it will hold up that long.

It is not very stretchy at all so you so need to Makesure you get the right size and you also need a secure sturdy area where you are drilling in nails to hold it up . Love it bought 2 of them so happy I chose the large one it fit absolutely perfect ! It covers well n helps heat stay out some .

I had no problem installing the 16 x 20 foot brown sail cover last Augest 2022. Installed on 6x4 posts with turnbuckles. A week ago i walked out and noticed 1 corner hanging down. Inspecting it noticed the D ring was still connected to turnbuckle but a mass of fibers , looking like a cotten ball, was hanging out of the corner of the cover. It doesnt look like its double stiched nor any reinforcement connecting the D ring to the cover. Since there is a 3 year warrenty and there has been no abuse to the cover i would like a replacement. This time before hanging it i will verify the stiching and or have an additional reinforcement added.

Excellent quality. We were looking for something that would allow some of the air to pass through, but still provide adequate shade. This did the trick!

The material is very nice and seems sturdy for the price.I bought the red russet color and it matches brick and Spanish tile roofs well.The sizing is short as it appears to measure from ring tie to ring tie, not necessarily the fabric length.If I new this I would have added 1 foot minimum to each side.It does not come with grommets. I was able to add my own and bought bungies to secure the sides and keep it tight.Overall, it's a great price for a custom size awning. I have quoted others for triple the price.If it lasts 2 yrs I'll be happy.I took off 1 star because of the measurements being short.

I ordered this for my back porch due to not having any trees for shade and I am so happy that I did. It is durable and such a great product. It has not worn or turned color in the time I have had it. I promote this item to anyone that is in search of such product.

We used this in a bit of an unconventional way, but our horses needed shade and the giant tarp wasn’t working. I was able to stretch this in between my 2 trailers and connect them with the strings provided and used bungees to secure to the opposite sides of the trailer so the horses can’t mess with the ties. Horses stayed cool and they were very appreciative of the shade while at competitions

Didn’t have the black outlines as per the picture. Seems well made been in use for over a month now does the trick, hopefully will last. We like the fact water does not pool after a rain like the previous sail.

We had some others we tried over the patio & they did not even last a season , These Amagenix HDPE ones however look to be much higher quality and durable ,Although they do have a pretty tight weave , They do allow for a little light, airflow, and water to come through but that is actually good thing , it will shed water to a certain extent but when it rains hard enough beyond that threshold, some will come through reducing pooling and possible damage to the tarp and supporting structures , I also like to use spring buckle connectors to give a little play and help alleviate stress from high winds or rains ,I expect with proper installation and care these should last a long time ,and you wont need to buy new ones every season , they are really nicely made

Water tipping off from all over the shade in case of rain. Not recommended at all.

This shade is not double reinforced along the edge, and it ripped as soon as the wind picked up just a little bit.I have another one from a different supplier and it’s going strong after two years (garden expert).
