I was never much into shooting video before. I wanted to get into the world of action cameras so that I could take videos while out on my kayak, and even in the winter when I go snowboarding. I didn't want to pay the very high prices that are associated with other brands. I found the Akaso to be an attractive offer with a wide variety of attachments and accessories for a very fair price. I unfortunately haven't been able to use it as much as I originally intended, but I have gotten some nice videos out on my kayak and Snowboard, and even of my bird feeding station in my backyard! It was fun posting the camera right next to the bird feeder and getting some close-up shots of the birds! The biggest issue I've been having is managing my battery life usage. I'm having a hard time engaging the true length of battery life. I think when I'm in the mountains and it's cold, the batteries probably don't last as long under those conditions. Otherwise great camera and lots of fun to use!

For its price, there is a ton of accessories, and the video taken is quite decent. The unit feels well built. Problem is that the one I received has issue turning on the wifi - it gets stuck on the screen, and I have to manually reset the camera to get it back to a responsive state. No way I can turn on the wifi, it hangs the entire unit. App connectivity is a key reason I bought this. Contacting tech support, hopefully this gets resolved.

I do not sky-dive, scuba dive nor snow board. I ride motorcycles and Hike. The Askaso Brave 7 is perfect for my endeavors. For me, there is a learning curve yet not insurmountable nor terribly frustrating. The videos are Very Good… Sound, excellent especially once I learned to turned on Wind Reduction :-)….Battery Life much better than I anticipated… Feels/acts Sturdy and well built. I am well pleased. TL
