[Apple MFi Certified] Lightning to HDMI Adapter Cable, Compatible with iPhone to HDMI, 1080P Digital AV Converter, for iPhone iPad iPod to TV Cord 6.6FT, Red

I just installed and was having difficulty getting video to work from phone to my tv it was originally just showing my phones Home Screen. When I unplugged from phone I saw directions to install the Drongscreen app on my tv monitor. Once I Scanned QR code and downloaded, now I can play movies and use apps that have videos with no issues. Wish they put this on instructions! Wanted to post so other people can enjoy videos from this device - it does work. Hope this helps!

Cord is compatible for my iPhone 13. Connected easily. Only works for a short minute and then an error message pops up that it cannot resume/play. Picture and sound quality is nice the whole 30 seconds it worked. Tried the cord several times… same outcome.

I bought this so I could connect my phone to tv’s when traveling etc. I was hoping to be able to access my paid subscriptions like : Netflix, HBO, Disney+ etc… and those are not compatible. You can mirror your phone and watch YouTube, that’s about it. The adapter works so can’t fault that. It’s more less the lack of collaboration that affects the use.

For some reason it works great on the older iPhone we have. It does not work great on our new ones. Won’t play videos on our new phones.

Followed the directions in description by seller. Instructions for iPhone settings did not pertain to an iphone13. At times a screen with a QR code would pop up for an app that when installed just said “disconnected” and wouldn’t let me select anything. On the second attempt with the app it wanted me to choose a model of cable from a list of 6 or 8. I could find no mention of a model or or version in the enclosed paper work. The instructions were also unreadable with out cheater glasses. At times it would actually work but always freeze after a minute or so. When it did work it’s was fine but always froze. Will try on another tv but most likely will send back. Update. Tried on several other TV, old and some new. Same results on all of them. Sending back and buying the Apple version.

I purchased this item on January 9th and it stopped working on the 17th. I had only used the cables a few times and it’s too late to return.
