they showed me that there was a difference in flags from inside to outside flags.

The only "downfall" to this light is that the bracket that you need to attach to your round flagpole is flat. Too bad something can't be done to make another bracket that could be used interchangeably that would have a curve to it. That being said, it does attach well and works VERY well. We are more than pleased with the brightness and the fact that it is still shining brightly before the sun comes up. It comes on and shuts off perfectly and we like the way we can adjust the brightness or turn it off with the switch. We placed ours about 10 feet below our flag and it lights it up just fine on the medium setting. Seems like an excellent, well-made product. We get alot of wind where we are and the fact that it's not plastic is SO appealing. Our temps drop down below zero in Winter and we can't do the plastic thing for items that might get alot of wear. Very, very happy with our purchase!

**Update November 2015**Well...the flag began seriously fraying and outright ripping across the vertical stripe end, I mean to the point of having holes which worked themselves over the top of the flagpole. It's the end of the season when I take down my flagpole anyway (it's telescoping metal and freezes solid) but I was hoping to get more life from the flag. The next flag I buy I'm going to epoxy-laminate the entire end seam to see if that mitigates damage, getting only a few months from a flag is unacceptable.Original review:This is a great flag for a great price. I live in a windy area so my flags get the crap kicked out of them and I have to constantly replace, this flag fit the bill.It's nicely embroidered and though I accidentally ordered the 5x8 rather than the 4x6, it flies and hangs perfectly. The seams are well sewn and the colors are bright, for the cost I don't think it can be beat.

I can't comment on the longevity of this since I just received it but wanted to get a current review in here. It is definitely good quality nylon. It has sturdy brass grommets and the stars are embroidered. The ends and corners are reinforced. I would call the one I received a good value.Note: If you want a flag that "flies" in a slight breeze, this is good for that because the fabric is not too heavy. If you want something that will hold up in a strong wind, then get a heavier polyester. I hope the thread and fabric is UV resistant.Note also that if you want a brighter, "shinier" looking flag than polyester, then go with the nylon. The polyester is a little duller than the nylon ones like this (at least with the two I bought). This one would be good for a display case.--------Update 9 months later. Although the flag has weathered the last nine months well - i.e. it didn't get shredded - it has, however, faded quite a bit. It shouldn't fade that fast. One of the things I liked about this flag was the fact it was so bright at first. Not anymore. Can't imagine what it will look like after two years. I took a picture to show a comparison of then and now but the camera auto-corrected too much so it's not realistic. Downgraded to three stars.

for $10 this is a great flag. it was about the same quality as a $30 one I had pick up at Walmart. My father had picked up a $10 flag at Kinney drugs around the same time, comparing the two was like they were from two different worlds. His was very thin see-through and you could tell it was not anything professional, clearly a cheap flag. While the one we got was thicker and made of a much more high-quality material. I would say we definitely got the better deal. My boyfriend wanted to use it to fly off the back of his truck, being such fast speeds it didn't last very long there. But I would imagine for regular use it would be perfect. Thinking about buying one of the big sizes to get my father for fathers day. ​

Good quality flag. We have a lot of wind here in Illinois. Flag is on a pole hanging on our porch but still gets the north wind daily. Started fading after about 4 months, but still looks good. Started fraying around 6 months. Completely shredded by 8 months and had to be taken down. Wish I could find another flag like the one I bought previously because it hung out there for over 2 years and the only reason I replaced it was because I thought it was too faded.....should have just left it there. Every flag since has lasted less than 9 months including this one.

This flag seems to constructed decently. The fabric is a bit thin and less supple than other flags I've gotten but it's not awful. The stitching seems decent and the colors are vibrant (for now). I fly a flag in front of my house 24/7. The last flag lasted about 14 months. I'll update this review with how this flag actually performs after its been up a while. The price was certainly impressive. I guess it's somewhat odd to be flying an American flag that's made in China but just about everything else is made there too and it doesn't make one any less patriotic so I'm giving it a try.

This flag is worth every penny. I bought it about 10 weeks ago and it still looks brand new. Almost immediately after replacing my old flag with this new flag, Southern California went through some insane weather like raining every Friday/Saturday/Sunday for the past 6 weeks. And don't even get me started on the Santa Ana winds. This photo was taken this morning. I have never had to untangle the flag since putting it up. And I have solar panels that my old flag used to get caught on and ripped that flag to shreds. It was Pirate ship status. I love my flag...MERICA. Cannot recommend this product enough.
