Peekaboo Chick

This book is just fabulous. We read it with our granddaughter, who is eighteen months old, and she gets so excited just seeing it coming out of the box.There are only a few pages and little text; the pleasure in the book is the simple illustrations and the clever use of sliders and pop outs - so much more imaginative than the standard 'lift the flap' and useful for little ones developing their fine motor skills.There are also lots of opportunities for counting, naming animals and colours, using 'up' and 'down', 'in' and 'out' - it is what the reader makes it in the end.The book is quite sturdy, although it is advisable to watch little ones with the pull out sections as, if these get bent, then they won't slide in and out so easily. The mirror at the end is good quality and one can easily see yourself in it.

Our little one loves this series of books. They’re engaging and have so far survived being handled by an interested toddler! The QR code doesn’t tell the full story in some of the books which is frustrating.

I bought this book as my baby had shown an interest in another book in the peekaboo book range at his cousin's house. He absolutely loves doing peek-a-boo with this one. The book is of good quality and hasn't ripped after many months of my little boy grabbing the pop up bits, looking through the book himself and throwing it across the room. Book matches description in ad and delivery was on time. I recommend this book.
