Beautiful espresso maker. Well made and quality materials.
I have had a ROK for some years and I gave this one to my son who also enjoys a well made cup of coffee or espresso. Nothing but great reviews from my son and his girl friend , I recommend this machine to anyone wanting quality at a great price. Easy to use, easy to clean and makes a beautiful addition to anyones kitchen.

Brilliant espresso maker.
Great for my older mother who refuses to learn to use my Breville Barista. Perfect Christmas gift (gave it early). Great way to get back to the basic presses used originally. Espresso tastes great.Awesome if you travel or camp: uses no electricity. Pricey, but if you can eliminate espresso shop visits it will pay for itself. You should consider buying one.

Bring back the old design please
I bought my first presso in 2004. The unit is still going strong, giving me 2-4 cups of delicious espresso everyday.I had to replace the O-ring after the first 10 years of use. This year I am vacationing in the rocky mountains for the summer, instead of carrying I bought a new unit.A few parts have changed, the water cup is now black, which made it really difficult to see the water level for my eyes - I am in my 60s. Also, you can not pour any more water than the designer have in mind, thus limiting the whole idea that you can control the grounds and water. Much less fun...Lastly, it doesn't pump nearly as cleanly as the earlier generation. There's less air pumping through each press. On the old unit it takes two presses to empty, now it takes four or five. I don't think it's an improvement in design. I wish ROK can bring back the clear version, with tolerance for the amount of water. In the past I contacted the customer service of ROK when I purchased the replacement part for my unit. The replacement didn't match the older design; it rendered useless, except for the O- ring. I tried to contact ROK, but didn't get any reply. I found their service to be rather inconsistent. However, when summer ends I will be reunited with the old unit, I will be happy.I checked eBay, nobody is giving up on the old unit; I take it as a good sign.

Does not come with everything
The thing to know is that it did not come with all the little gadgets in the picture. Just the main unit and the measuring cup/tamp. Great espresso though.
