I bought a medium to fit my tall 3 year old, according to the size chart that should fit an average 4-5 year old. What I got were not Medium little girls, they were a very clearly marked size 8-10. The sizing information should really just reflect the packaging sizes, that would be SO much more helpful than guessing at confusing sizing charts.

Don't waste your money. I bought these to save a few dollars and regretted it. I came back and bought the Danskin brand soon after. These are thicker and have a texture more like cheap panty hose than legitimate dance tights. The color is also much brighter pink than is generally preferred for ballet. 2 stars because they actually do hold up rather well, but because of the cheap appearance and coarse texture (also pill easily), they are the "backup" pair of tights.

I'm disappointed that these are much too large. The size chart says that the small fits a 3-4 year old but the package says 6-7. I will keep them for when my diaghter is older, but that doesn't do much for me now.

Nice price and color so it would have been a great buy - except it was too small! Large was a tad small for average sized 9yr old. Definitely wouldn't have lasted even half a year. Had to return. A pity.

SIZING IS FOR BIG GIRLS, NOT LITTLE GIRLS. SIZE LARGE IS A GIRLS 12/14! BE ADVISED WHEN YOU ORDER, EVEN IF YOU CONTACT THE SELLER AND EXPLAIN IN ADVANCE WHICH SIZING YOU ARE LOOKING FOR, YOU WILL BE SHIPPED "BIG GIRL" SIZING.

It's okay. It fitted as expected but the material is very thin and see through (which is expected for ballet tights however a little more on the thinner side). I doubt if it will stay put through washes and repeated uses. So I have only hand washed it and see the fabric stretching already.

Good quality tights. I've washed them a few times with very little pilling. Only con was the color...it's definitely not balet pink, it's a brighter vibrant pink instead of the pale pink.
