Very Happy With The Projecter - Espeically Brightness
I was apprehensive about buying this projector. I've been using a small Acer LED projector that's rated at 600 lumens that was pretty dim in a regularly lit room. The AXXA M5 has been a VERY GOOD surprise!! I use it regularly for presentations in a fully lit room with no problems. It is clear and easy to see without dimming the lights. I'm projecting full size (4 foot diagonal) PowerPoint presentations in a medium size (600 sq/ft) meeting room and it's clearly visible to everyone in the room. The room is lit by large overhead florescent light fixtures and 3 uncovered windows with full daylight. It's also a fairly short-throw projector. I can get an 8 foot diagonal image from a distance of 8 feet.I usually use it plugged in to get the higher brightness (900 lumens). But even when running on battery with reduced brightness, the presentation is still clear without dimming the lights. I have found the battery lasts 1 hour. It takes 3-4 hours to fully recharge.A very nice carrying case is included. It has padded compartments for the projector, power supply, remote, and a small tripod stand (all included). There is also a mesh pocket for other cables, etc. The case is 12.5" x 8.5" x 2.5" 32cm x 22cm x 7cm.The projector itself is 6" x 6" x 1.75" 15.5cm x 15.5cm x 4.5cm It's a bit heavy for its size because of the battery, but still very portable and easy to carry.I would HIGHLY recommend this projector. I've been using it regularly for about 2 months with no problems or issues.

The menus need work.
It does have fairly good picture quality for the price, and you can use a regular camera tripod to support it, sincethe tripod socket is a standard size, which gives you many more mounting options. So, I can look past the lack of a"picture zoom" or "picture resize" function, since that would increase the price (or the size)The battery is not strong enough to go to full brightness. It's not like it uses AA batteries, so why not just pick abattery in the design phase that can run it at full capacity? Even at lower settings, the battery life is too short todo a whole movie. The fact that they had to limit the brightness of the projector to be compatible with abattery that was chosen in the design phase for said projector, seems a bit clunky, like the battery was anafterthought.Even with these shortcomings, I would still give it 5 stars if not for some more glaring flaws with theprojector's user interface. First of all, several times I've had a message pop up on the screen, that I couldn'tread because a gray box popped up at the same time partially obscuring it! In other words, the firmwarecovered up its own message with a blank box, and it was a fairly routine message as well: Like "Sleep timer isgoing to shut down the projector, press something to cancel" or "Out of battery, powering down"There's a menu option to project inverted if the projector were mounted upside down. However, apparently, the software people didn't know that the only mounting hole in the projector has a sticker thatspecifically warns against using it to hang the projector since it's apparently not designed for that purpose. You cannot just set it upside down on a shelf, either, since that would cover the vents and probably ruinthe projector. So I guess they reused a menu from a completely different model of projector? Now I wonderif AAXA projectors without a VGA input still list "VGA" as a selectable option in the menu!Another issue I've noticed, is that if I've gone into the menu to reset or change something, sometimes, I canpress the menu button and get back to showing the image, but other times, pressing the menu buttonbrings up the function selection screen where you'd choose USB disk or video input. However, pressing menuagain just brings me back to settings, and the only way to get out of this and back to the movie, is to re-selectthe input again. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to whether I can exit the menus entirely by justpressing the "menu" button. It almost feels like an unfinished product, to the point that I feel like one day,I might accidentally stumble on a combination of settings that instantly fries the projector. If you have one specific place you plan on using the projector for the majority of the time, I would recommend getting a "real" one from Epson or something. Even if the resolution isn't as high, you'll probably be a lot happier with one of those, but definitely research both the price AND the rated life of OEM bulbs.

Powerful portable projector with tons of inputs/outputs
The projector came in a nice colorful box with everything packed into the carrying case. Upon opening the case, you will find the projector, power adapter, remote control, and a/v cable. I did not find an instruction manual but i was easily able to find this online in PDF form. The projector is very easy to use with basic operating system to control the built-in media player, control different sources and finally settings menu. The built-in media player can be used with USB flash drives or microSD storage devices and must be formatted to FAT32. I was able to play common file types such as JPG, AVI, MP4, etc without any issues. The even got huge 3-4GB MKV files to work however there is some lag and may freeze the controls if the files too large (understandable). The M5 projector also features a wide variety of inputs/outputs but you'll most likely be using the HDMI and audio 3.5mm output the most. I choose to go with the simple operating system instead of an Android OS based projector because i planned on connecting either Chromecast to cast video streaming apps from my iPhone and connect other HDMI devices for occasional use.Overall I think this is a great reliable projector with great brightness for most applications, all packed into a small/portable size. Highly recommended. If I had to list any cons, the carrying case feels a little cheap and the handle started to tear already. Not sure if this is a one off thing but i'll be reaching out to them asking for a replacement. Either way, most projectors don't come with a carrying case and I planned on using a larger universal bag to carry my other electronics as well.

Decent projector, died after 30 uses
I used this for around 30 live shows, the battery stopped working then it wouldn't charge anymore until it stopped working altogether.Shame, as it was pretty decent. Very expensive for 30 uses though
