Good hoist for my needs
I do light steel fabrication work as a hobby and this hoist looked like a good starter option. My shop is 12' x 24' I put up (2) 20' Ibeams with trolleys to support a 12' ibeam with another trolley that I hooked this hoist to. This set up gives me both x and y axis movement across my shop I wasn't expecting this hoist to be super fast but for my purposes it is as fast as I need it to be especially for vertical lifts. It has the power to lift as advertised and with the wireless remotes I can guide and help support larger pieces. The kit came with a well made storage case, a wired controller and (2) wireless remotes that take 9v batteries (batteries were included), a lifting strap that has all of the lifting capacities written in Chinese and an extra set of motor brushes. The manual and owner literature explains basic operation, and outlines the equipment capacity and specifications as well as general safety guidance and warranty information. So far I'm impressed with what this hoist lift includes and what it's able to do and hopefully it will hold up over time.

Follow instructions on electrical and power sources and you’re good to go
Showed up and it was ready to go. Very simple and did what it is supposed to. The wireless option is a big bonus!!

You get what you pay for
I was really looking forward to reviewing this unit as what I’m using now was manual and not powered. What I liked: I really liked the amount of power this unit possessed. I really liked that you could be 20+ feet away and be able to work the remote. But that’s pretty much where it ends. The hook is a piece of crap and stretched out and formed on first use (see photo). I replaced it with my hook from my manual unit. The motor is massively loud. And if you’re going to use it indoors be prepared. The remote is a challenge to use and get precise control. The power cord needs to be longer. So I’m hoping with some tweaks I can get the noise level down, and have more control over the unit with the remote. For the price, it’s not a bad deal. Be prepared and have reasonable expectations and you’ll be happy with this unit.

Only minor complaints, with adequate solutions.
This electric winch works well for my light to medium duty lifting needs, and seems to be a fair value for the price, but I did have a few small problems starting off with it. The instruction manual offered very little help in regards to the actual operation of the winch, and although it would seem to be fairly straightforward how it should work anyways, I ended up having two different issues with both of the available controlling methods. The first was simple enough for me to figure out at least, which was just having to press down and twist the reset button on the wired controller panel to get the directional buttons to be able to do anything. Instead of labeling this as a reset button, I would say it could have been much better described as a safety lock button instead, which would help a first time user like myself avoid thinking the directional buttons might just not be working.I also had to take a minute to figure out if both of the remote controls were broken too, but luckily that problem ended up being easy to solve as well. Besides the power cord for the winch, there is an additional AC adapter included that needs to be plugged in where the wired controller is already plugged in at, so switching them out fixed the remote controls not working, but unfortunately at the expense of me having to sacrifice using the wired controller at the same time too in the process.I'm not sure why the designers of this couldn't have used two ports next to each other to make it easier to use both controlling methods at the same time, and also why the winch and the remote receiver couldn't share their power source somehow instead of requiring two separate plugs. With the very short power cable attached to the winch, if you want to plug in the remote receiver too it would be necessary to use a splitter at the end of an extension cord, which are usually only rated for light duty, or going through the extra trouble of using two separate extension cords instead. If I were to foresee myself wanting to alternate between controlling methods more frequently I would see this as a more serious problem, but since I really don't think I will need to mess with switching them out very often anyways I don't believe I should need to deduct anything from my overall rating. However, if any other more serious issues arise with using this winch after a longer period of time, I will come back to update this review with any details and adjust my rating as well.NEWTRY 1,100lb Electric Hoist Pro, Electric Winch 110v 120v, with 2 Wireless Remote Control, Cable Remote Control, Vertically & Horizontally

Lifts and pulls
Easy to assemble/easy instructions. I feel it’s safe. Not only have we so far pulled an engine w it but we also used it to get a car out of a ditch with ease. Great setup to have ! Price is phenomenal!
