13-inch Premium Travel Backgammon Set - Purple Board, Grey Field, White and Purple Points

This set is very well built. It is a faux leather case with a felt playing surface. The pieces are nice and smooth and play very well. I got dice that are slightly larger for play and they fit fine. I only worry the felt will get dirty over time. Other than that this is a great set for both travel and home play.

The color is GREAT, a really rich purple and it has a smooth playing surface. Just right for good checker play. The materials are good quality and sturdy. The dice are what you would expect for stock kit.The one negative is that the board doesn't lay flat. I have to put something under one side so that it doesn't rock around when I play.EDIT: I own several expensive backgammon boards ($300+) and can recognise quality builds. While this board really IS a quality build as far as materials and most of the construction goes, the fact that it doesn't lay flat really bothers me. It interferes with gameplay to the point where I wish I spent an additional $100 and bought the Crisloid travel board I was looking at.

Really love the color and looks of this backgammon set only wish it would have had a handle on it for easy carrying other than that it is a beautiful set.

I purchased as a gift, but had the opportunity to play on it as well. It’s well constructed. Opens properly. A pleasant size to use. No regrets at the choice for me, and the recipient loves it. Good deal!
