My first brand I noticed nothing after a whole bottle. I am 5 days into this bottle and it appears to be more potent. I read both the Tudca studies these products are based off. Cuz I'm a medical geek that way. The dosage is correct with only two capsules. In the larger study some people took several months before positive response so don't get disheartened if it takes awhile. I will use this for a year like in the larger study and see what happens. I bought two of these because I thought I was getting a good deal. Both bottles came sealed well. Label says made in USA. It says ingredients: TUDCA. There are no fillers specified. Sounds good, right?When I opened the bottle, it smelt like a gas leak. TUDCA is not supposed to smell like this.I took only one pill. Half an hour later, I got red flush, itching and felt lithargic. It felt like I'd taken a mega dose of niacin.So the next day, I opened one of the pills, emptied the powder into a plate and tasted it. It tasted like niacin and nothing else. It still had that really strong gas leak odor.TUDCA, which I've taken plenty of times before it's supposed to taste salty at the tip of your tongue with an overwhelming bitter taste over the rest of your tongue.I didn't taste any of that.I'm guessing two pills from this bottle contain anywhere between 500 to 1000 milligrams of niacin.Now, there are some liver support protocols that use mega doses of niacin, but you're not supposed to take a mega dose everyday, and only on an empty stomach. If you're already taking niacin, you're likely going to have some serious side effects. Niacin also interacts with a lot of medications This could be potentially dangerous.This is worse than filling up the pills with just some rice flour filler because this could actually cause harm. Plus there's the mystery ingredient that smells like a gas leak.I've asked Amazon to remove this product before it seriously hurts someone.For reference, a good brand of TUDCA is the one by double wood. Great product, super strong. I have been using Tudca products for a year now, I suffer from a Fatty liver, and tudca has been a life saver. I get blood work done all the time. This product works faster than others out there!
