good for skincare
This skin care product is a game-changer. It's got this fresh vibe and a subtle scent, making it a perfect canvas for my essential oil concoctions that turn it into a powerhouse skin moisturizer. The price tag is surprisingly friendly, which is a win.But here's the quirky part – they didn't ship it with the dropper top ready to roll. Nope, you've got to play cap detective and deal with a bit of a puzzle to get that dropper in place. It's a tad tricky and can get a bit messy. Knocked off a star for that, but the product itself is worth the little assembly adventure.

Bang For The Buck Turpentine Oil
This is actually "gum spirit" of turpentine, not pure "oil." It is potent and very strong smelling. It has uses as an anti-fungal and natural antibiotic but one needs to be cautious about using it as some can experience skin issues with it. I blended it with a plain carrier oil in a weak concentration as a test and it seemed fine on my skin. It also comes in handy as a cleaner and can remove sticky adhesives and gummy products from glass and metal surfaces pretty easily. It's a good price at almost 2 ounces for ten bucks.

Greenwood Essential produce consistently high quality products at reasonable prices (aside from their carrier/base oils which I always find expensive) and in such variety as is difficult to find elsewhere. In fact, Greenwood Essential has taken me on a massive journey of discovery. Every time I think I have a complete set of oils, I discover a new one.Carrot oil is different from carrot seed oil, or at least this one is. This carrot oil is a carrier oil and as such, consistently expensive by this brand, but also good quality. It has no scent, as a carrier oil should and can be combined with any essential oil. Carrot seed oil has a delicate scent to it and is used as an essential oil.

Pure & cold pressed
When I apply this, I feel it's quite cold pressed & very moisturising. I've tried many different products from this brand & they always deliver. This one being no exception.Sunflower seed oil is an oil par excellence for the skin. It's known to ease out wrinkles & smooth the skin. I've heard wonderful benefits about it & so will try & let you know. I'll be adding some essential oils to it, Frankincense, Chamomile are some that are supposed to be very good for the skin. I'll update if I see an improvement in my skin. Here's some info on benefits of sunflower seed oil:Sunflower oil contains several compounds that have benefits for skin. They include:oleic acidvitamin Esesamollinoleic acidNon-comedogenicSunflower oil is a non-comedogenic carrier oil which is highly absorbent, and won’t clog pores. It’s non-irritating for most people, and can be used on all types of skin, including dry, normal, oily, and acne-prone.AntioxidantsVitamin E is an antioxidant that can help protect skin from free radicals and from adverse effects of the sun, such as premature aging and wrinkles. Using a skincare product formulated with sunflower oil is a good way to obtain vitamin E’s benefits for skin.Eating foods prepared with sunflower oil is another way, although there are other plant oils, such as olive oil, that may be more beneficial nutritionally.Skin-protecting barrierLinoleic acid helps to maintain the skin’s natural barrier, supporting its ability to retain moisture. It also has an anti-inflammatory effectTrusted Source when used topically. This makes it beneficial for dry skin and for conditions, such as eczema.A small studyTrusted Source with 19 volunteers, which contrasted the benefits of topically applied sunflower oil to olive oil, found that sunflower oil was more effective at improving skin hydration and maintaining the integrity of the skin’s outer layer. The linoleic acid in sunflower oil makes it effective for protecting skin against bacteria and germs. A study done in 2008 on premature infants in Bangladesh found that topical application of sunflower oil significantly reduced infant mortality caused by hospital-acquired infections, such as sepsis.Wound healingA small animal study also found that topical use of sunflower oil was beneficial for healing wounds faster. This may be due to its oleic acid content, which can be beneficial for wound careTrusted Source. An animal studyTrusted Source done in 2004 found that sesame oil and its component, sesamol, had chemopreventive properties in mice with skin cancer, but also indicated that more study is needed to ascertain their full potential.
