UPS battery upgrade project
Summary: The little lead acid battery on my very old APC UPS (200VA) had died, and I had an extra car battery, so I decided to increase its battery reserve size. Used quite a few parts for this upgrade, so this review will contain all of those parts.Details: The battery is a side terminal, so the first thing I needed were adapters. Next I used the WIndyNation terminal adapters. Used some high amperage Anderson Power Pole (APP) quick disconnect connectors. Mine just like the photos.
Be sure and take a wrench and tighten the bolt up through the brass clamp to make it nice and tight. Gives you a little more stud length as well. Worked perfectly. Used 5/16 stainless nuts off my old battery for a bit of an upgrade, but the red and black wing nuts would work fine.

Mostly good quality
I got this for may marine battery to add an extra place to place wires. Brass body, stainless bolt, but, oddly, the wing nut is ferrous. They are painted but not good in a salt water environment. Not a problem, I replaced them with stainless nuts.
