Mrs. Dash Marinade Salt-Free Sweet Teriyaki 12 Oz - Pack of 2

I bought this to be a salt free marinade because of diet restrictions. It tastes nothing like a Teriyaki marinade. It also doesn't cook like a marinade. I tried stir frying shrimp with it, and there were pieces of caramelized burnt sugar that were very bitter. As a dipping sauce for shrimp, sort of a sweet/sour, it works fairly well which is how it scored three stars. I like Mrs Dash spices, but this is not a stir fry substitute.

A tad expensive at 10 bucks a bottle but for anyone on a low sodium diet this is the best alternative to get Teriyaki flavor without the sodium. I use it to make my version of a chicken Teriyaki stir fry, but have yet to try it as a marinade.

It’s a little pricier than when it was sold in the grocery store but since it’s the only place I can find it now days I’m willing to pay it. I have to be on a low sodium diet and this is perfect for grilling putting on chicken or pork chops. A little goes a long way. My family thinks it’s delicious and they do not have to do a little salt diet so it works out great for all of us.

MEH. I definitely wouldn’t put it in the “tastes good” category. If you really want to watch your sodium intake & want to eat healthy stir fry’s, it will do. But nothing to write home about.

This marinade gives nice flavor to meats. I wasn't able to see the ingredient list before buying but was desperate for some flavor in my salt free food. Unfortunately, I can't have some of its ingredients so only use it sparingly. Because of this, I wouldn't buy it again, but for those who have no problem with the ingredients it would be a great product.

We were missing soy sauce and teriyaki chicken due to a low sodium diet and this is a life saver!! Best as far as flavor goes. Obviously different taste because of no salt but now that we have only been using this, I don’t even notice a difference

Finally a salt free marinade, and it's yummy! This product has added flavor to my low sodium menu and I am grateful for it. It's sweet, but not too sweet. I use it as a meat marinade and to add flavor to my stir-fry veggies. It adds dimension to a boring menu. Hats off to Mrs. Dash for coming up with this product!

I'm trying to cut down on salt and found these surpirzingly good without the soy sauce in them. I usually thin it with a little sherry when using it as a marinade and perhaps add more garlic but overall the have a great, sweet-sour flavor nice on chicken or pork.
