Right now we are using this for " portable studio " use. Recording from laptop in a mix of environments. So far we are well pleased. The distance from the mic seems to be very critical with this mic. About 8-12 inches seems to produce a good clean recording for most speakers we have had use it.

I bought this microphone back in June 2022, used it once or twice for Zoom meetings and conferences, and then did not have any meetings for a long time. Today (February 2023) I was reviewing Zoom device settings and found that this microphone was somehow no longer recognized by Windows. I tried it on a different PC and it would not recognize it either. I'll continue to troubleshoot it but I'll probably have to resort to a backup for my upcoming meeting, because I think it's broken.Anyway, it worked pretty well when it did. The microphone was clear, and I liked the monitoring feature because it let me hear myself so I didn't end up yelling during the meeting. I just wish it lasted longer.Update: customer service contacted me and sent me a replacement unit which works perfectly fine now. So, so far so good.

Love it! Only issue i have with it is there's no way to turn off the headphone port so when i hook it to my Android phone, it switches to that and i can't use phone audio anymore so i had to get headphones. Just a heads up for those with that usage in mind. Quality is excellent, very compact so it isn't taking up much space. The cord is adaptable for most situations as well as being replaceable. Gotta love it!

As a mic it works fine, but for some reason the computer recognizes it as headphones as well.This means you have to mess around with audio settings in every program you use it in, which is pretty annoying.Like I said, otherwise it works just fine.

Very great microphone but delicate stand a piece broke off when I put it in my backpack with nothing but clothes definitely would recommend this as long as your cautious of where you take it!

It's true that you get what you pay for. I actually think you get more here than what you pay for. It's not so much the features as it is the overall quality you get for what you're spending. 5 stars! Great mic!

But if your going to use it for gaming or talking in discord I’d recommend if u use “SteelSeries.GG” software just search that and install it and customize it to your liking b/c this mic doesn't really help with noise reduction or back ground sound.

Estoy usando el microfono para directos y videos y por ahora va todo bien. La verdad es que se escucha muy bien y tiene buen precio. Tiene su boton de MUTE y para regular el sonido. El soporte que tiene tambien esta bien, es comodo y se mantiene genial. Buen precio y se escucha muy bien.

Am PC über gotomeeting ohne vorgeschalteten Audiofilter nutzbar, da diese Software sein eigener Filter mitbringt, bei anderen PC Anwendungen empfiehlt es sich Nvidia Broadcast in Verbindung mit Voicemeeter vorzuschalten oder als Streamer nur die OBS Software mit eigenen Filtern zu nutzen. Mit anstecken und loslegen, ist nur "Rauschfrei" an Android oder Apple Geräten (Smartphone, Tablet) zu rechnen. Und das Gerät auf kein Fall so Softwaremäßig Kalibrieren, dass man sein Mund dran hält, es sollte schon bei einem Abstand von 50cm bis 1m optimal zu hören sein, das geht mit Filter problemlos, sprich ist auch locker und hervorragend für Livestreams nutzbar, wenn man sich nicht dämlich anstellt.Möchte man nur Gesang, Geräusche aufnehmen empfiehlt es sich eher ein omnidirektionales Mic zu nutzen, wie z.B. so ein UMIK-1, mit dessen äquivalent auch Jodie Foster, in dem Film: Sie Fremde in dir, durch die Stadt lief, denn Niere ist eher für die Kommunikation gedacht und natürlich "kann" man auch Gesang und Instrumente damit gut aufnehmen.

在宅勤務時に1日6時間くらい電話会議を行っているのですが当初はヘッドセットやワイヤレスイヤホンを使って参加していたのですが、だんだん耳が疲れる、ワイヤーがうっとおしい、ワイヤレスイヤホンの電源切れなどのトラブルがありスマホのアプリで参加していましたが、スマホのバッテリー劣化が激しいのでBlack Fridayで当製品を購入。最初USBハブに接続して使用したら、ノイズが凄く音声もロボットボイスのように割れてしまい、失敗したかなと思いましたがUSBの指し口を直接PCにしたら、すごくきれいになりました。スピーカーからの音も拾わないので、電話会議先からもキレイな音になったと好評です。趣味で音楽もやっているので、他にも使えないか試してみたいと思います。
