Compelling
The events of BA149 played out in front of me as a BA employee. The account of events at the time didn’t hold water, too many unanswered questions even then. This investigative book raises more questions to be answered, riveting behind the scenes account for those who lived those 6months through the media at the time.

Good book with some disputed facts
Good read but hard to follow at times. Also some of the facts are disputed so worth reading other sources on these events too

Absolutely intriguing
You know when the 1st gulf war kicked off in 1991 I was 30 and watched with awe the destruction of Baghdad on TV at work on Nightshift as a mechanical engineer and at the time was totally unaware of the horror faced by the western hostages except when brandished on the telly and this truth opens up a whole new angle of the gulf war 1 and makes me ashamed of my government and also British Airways for the lies deceipt and corrupted view they gave of these events thank you for opening the door and switching on the light Stephen

Just when I thought Thatcher couldn’t be anymore evil
As an ex 23 year veteran of numerous Establishment follies, this book superbly researched has once and for all confirmed why I do not believe a word that is spouted by these illicit, complicit servants of privilege who we allegedly “vote” into power.Thatcher’s total disregard for the masses was on show during the Miners Strikes. Duplicated her disregard after Hillsboro but the details of how she hung out to dry a full 747 crew and passengers is an event in history which the public must be enlightened to.In this current day truth is a commodity which is deficient but thanks to Steven Davis we have a vanguard.

There is a follow up book!
Very interesting book, but dissapointed that a follow up book "Flight 149, A hostage Crisis" by the same author follows so soon, and probably covers the same ground/
